Lol, wrong about what Abaddon? Are you saying the eucharist doesnt look/taste like bread? (In the form of it)
I don't understand what it is you claim I am saying that is contrary to the pope's encyclical.
It is simple bread, you moron, you simply claim it is human flesh and try to pretend that you did not just claim that.

Dude! Really!? That's metaphor/allegory. Heavy on the gory. /sarc Seriously, I have real trouble buying into the buy-bull. But then, people even voted for cheeto von tweeto, an obvious madman/charlatan. Our species thinks it's so smart, yet we still see this kind of guppy-like behavior.

Ok bro
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

There is really 0 reason for you to talk to me like that Jor.
I agree. I agree with Jor that the logic is suspect at best but that doesn't warrant the personal attack.
CL does a great service to us by hanging out here and giving us a civil, Christian perspective. She might be wrong but she certainly isn't stupid.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

You really are a laugh a minute. Not only am I wrong, the church is wrong, the priests are wrong, the bishops are wrong, the cardinals are wrong and even the pope is wrong and you alone are right and the sole possessor of "True catholicism".
Pull the middle one.

Again Abaddon, if you are willing to actually tell me what exactly it is I am supposedly claiming they are all wrong about, then we can talk and I can give you even further clarification. Because at this point I have no idea what you are talking about, since there is nothing the "priests/bishops/cardinals/popes" have said about transubstantiation that I disagree with, and I have told you that. Yet you keep claiming there is, but won't tell me what it is.
...Otherwise you can continue to ramble on nonsensically, hurl insults, accuse me of supposed heresy, and accuse me of wanting to kill transpeople, and I'll just sit here and amuse myself with reading it all. That is fine too.

So basically, according to Abandon, C/L isn't allowed to independently ponder the articles of her faith or question the decisions of Magistariate. Only unthinking people are true Catholics in his opinion. Let me remind Abandon that the Catholic Church has been one of the most stable intellectual institutions in Western society, the very foundation of the modern university system, rather than community of unquestioning dolts.

Wow! You are truly ignorant about Catholic Doctrine if you think the host is considered material human flesh. The catechism clearly says that Christ is present in the bread and wine.

I cited the Vatican and the pope stating exactly that.
