We're not laughing at you for being a cannibal. We're laughing at you for being stupid enough to swallow the horseshit logic you quoted. Laugh that off if you like.

There is really 0 reason for you to talk to me like that Jor.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

My point in bringing up transubstantiation was because my ex alma mata, the Church of England, as an offshoot of the Roman Catholic Church also ostensibly accepted the same dogma - ritual cannibalism. Please do not disregard the word ritual, as this is the vital ingredient (pun intended) of the Eucharist.

We were told that the wafer was the Body of Christ and the Wine was the Blood of Christ, and extolled to eat and drink Christ. I never liked it when I was thirteen, and liked it even less when I started drifting away from the church, and into non-belief.

I might as well add that I find the passage from Matthew 26 unconvincing anyway because the event is unconvincing. I suspect that simple Jews would have been horrified at being told to eat and drink human body and blood, even as a ritual. Jews found and still find cannibalism abhorrent.

And it gets worse for the Catholic apologists, Scripture clearly states Holy Ghost went unto the Virgin Mary, NOT the Lord God Almighty.

Jesus is 1/2 human and 1/2 ethereal cosmo-religiousistic ylem.

So the mystery of the Trinity is wholly and intrinsically part of transubstantiation too.

Even harder to explain and keep the flock up to speed on what's expected of them regarding their beliefs.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Are you claiming that the Vatican Catechism is wrong?

Quote:1413 By the consecration the transubstantiation of the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ is brought about. Under the consecrated species of bread and wine Christ himself, living and glorious, is present in a true, real, and substantial manner: his Body and his Blood, with his soul and his divinity (cf. Council of Trent: DS 1640; 1651).

You are required to accept that as an article of your faith.

That's some real good a-la-carte catholicism you have going on there.

Yes, we are required to believe what you posted above. And I do believe it. Neither myself nor the Catholic source I posted denied any of it. I actually said as much on my post, and then the article I posted explained in detail exactly what you just posted above lol. So I'm not sure what you are going on about. But like I said, if you want to keep thinking we consider communion cannibalism, go for it. Knock yourself out.

If someone knows in advance what things they will or won't do when instructed by God, then they are judging God, rather than the other way round.

Here is the crux of it.   What you imagine communion to be, any sane person would call cannibalism.   What communion actually is, is manifestly not.

What communion actually is, is but the ritualistic eating of bad pastry, accompanied by vigorous efforts to delude yourself about It being the partaking of the flesh of some rather nauseatingly character who styled himself your lord and savior.   It smacks of cultish psychological practices designed to gaslight the victim into the overwriting of tangible reality by degrading fiction to more readily be made to serve the interest of the cult.

But the cult is not done when it deluded you into believing that the eating of pastry is the eating of your lord, it further gaslighted you into thinking the act that you believed to have taken place, which is cannibalism, as oppose to the act that actually took place- the eating of cheap crackers worth 1/10 of 1/10 of 1 % of what has been fleeced from you by the cult - is in somehow not cannibalism, like Giuliani’s truth is not truth and Conway’s alternative facts.

Again, your cult is doubling down on the practice of gas lighting you so all your critical faculties become suppressed so that you stop being a thinking person able to use your thinking facilities to penetrate the fraudulence of your cult, and instead become another minor stupid servant of the fraud.

It's not that different to the other nonsense in the religion, such as Jesus being all man yet all God; there only being one God yet there are three; God has always existed yet he was born; and so on. Things are true and not true at the same time. It's the total opposite of logic and reason.
