Sure, if the facts are as documented in the article you quoted, why bring up irreducible complexity at all?  Even your own author says it's of no use to intelligent design.

All i care about in that article I posted was the definition.  I don't care about anything else in that article.  Irreducible complexity is of use to intelligent design.  These molecular machines are so complex and specified that if one part of a machine fails the entire system fails.  I am sure they have redundancies built in but the point is these machines are designed for sure.

Ultimately the main factor was her moving goalposts and all her posts being in that one thread. Usually people who want to discuss stuff properly don’t do that. Admittedly it took us a while, hopefully we’ll be quicker in the future.

Not saying that you can’t sign up and post in only one thread, btw, but we’d obviously appreciate it if you enjoy the many other threads the community has to offer!

Here are my assumptions.  


1. Design is only explicable in terms of intelligence.

2. We are designed.

3. CDFgod is asserted to be the existent intelligence(1) responsible for our design(2).

4. A necessary property of CDFgod's existence (3) is that our design (2) is explained by it's intelligence (1)

Here are my assertions.  Evolutionary processes are just such a force F.  They act to maximize future freedom of action, or keep options open, with the strength T of replication, and the diversity of possible accessible futures S of modification, up to the future time horizon t in which no further evolutionary processes are possible.  

Now, my inference.  Because we have been designed, and because the intelligence responsible for that design is evolutionary process, our design is explained by an intelligence other than CDFgods....ergo it lacks a necessary property of it's existence, and so...does not exist.

I wasn't really following this thread, but I thought her banning was odd. I suppose one doesn't have to be causing any harm to be trolling, but what I saw of her, she operated on the borderline, pretty much kept to this one thread, and was insulting but not solely insulting. I don't have access to the staff's deliberations, but given what little I know, I wouldn't have voted to take disciplinary action, or would have advocated a less severe disciplinary action. But then, I've been ignoring this thread for some time. I may not have all the facts. Matter of fact, I'm sure I don't have all the facts. Troll or not, she seemed harmless enough, and people liked to engage with her.

The Lord used some evolutionary processes but not common ancestry.  That is the problem with your equation.

That's great to hear from you.  Yeah, I don't think she was that bad in this thread either.  At one point she posted a bunch of videos to get to 1000 pages quicker and someone called it spamming.  Not sure if that is what it was about or not.
