You haven't explained what your problem is with me. Your problem is that I won't vote for a New Dem under any circumstances? I'm not going to vote for a New Dem whether you support Bernie or not.
No, it is not a matter of trusting the majority of sane people. MOST Bernie and Hillary supporters LAST TIME were on board. The problem was just enough of each camp with their scorched earth bullshit.
I am not backstabbing anyone. I said I will vote for whomever we nominate.
But right now, and based upon YOUR repeated responses you make me fear a repeat. NOT BERNIE BUT YOU!
If you were to say to me now, "I will vote for anyone who gets the nomination, even if it is not Bernie" you'd give me more comfort.
AGAIN BERNIE IS NOT THE PROBLEM YOU ARE.
You are the one who's behavior is untrustworthy. You were a Bernie supporter. Now you are refusing to support him just to screw with his supporters, such as me. That's backstabbing. No one wants to be in a foxhole with someone like you.

I said I would support him if he gets the nomination. How the fuck does that translate to not supporting him at all?
Now you sound like a gun nut.
Me, "I am not for banning all firearms, but want some pragmatic laws."
You, " YOU HATE ALL GUN OWNERS"
I certainly would not want to be in a foxhole with you, because you'd rush the hill before the platoon leader or captain or general told you to.
Your all or nothing bullshit is what bothers me, not Bernie.
Let me clue you in. If Bernie does not get the nomination, he will do what he did the last time, and support the nominee. Or are you going to lie to me and claim he did not support Hillary?
HE DOES NOT WORRY ME, YOU DO ASSHOLE.

But you still haven't explained what I have to do with you withdrawing your support from Bernie in the primaries.

I did explain that to you, you not liking my answer is your baggage, not mine.
YOU, NOT HIM, are the reason.
HE IS NOT THE PROBLEM YOU ARE.
I don't want a repeat of 2016.
The dynamics have changed, the field has changed. If he still gets the nomination. I WILL VOTE FOR HIM. But right now, I don't see him as winning the nomination.
I can flip the question on you too.
What will you do if he does not get the nomination? Hold a grudge for the person who does?
Congrats, 8 years of Trump.

I've been clear about what sort of candidate I won't vote for, under any circumstances. It's not because I'm holding a grudge over Bernie not getting the nomination.
So you still haven't explained what I have to do with you withdrawing your support from Bernie in the primaries. You supported him in the primaries before.

I tried to explain this to you earlier.
Lets say Hillary ran this time instead, and Bernie stayed out this time. EVEN SHE would not be my first pick. FOR THE SAME REASONS.
Not because of the candidate, but because of the supporters. And again, not because of a majority, last time most of both were on the same page in the general. But just enough people like you IN HIS CAMP AND HILLARY'S CAMP helped contribute to sitting out or voting third party.
My goal is to beat Trump. If that means voting for Bernie if he wins the nomination I will. But if Harris or Warren or Booker or Biden win the nomination, I will vote for them. But as it stands right now, YOUR BEHAVIOR, not Bernie's BUT YOURS makes it harder for me to consider him in the primaries. I'd feel the same way if Hillary chose to run this time too. And I saw the same scorched earth mentality from just enough of her supporters last time too.
You are not going to bully me into supporting Bernie in the primaries.
It is strategy for me. Not popularity. And as of this moment I do not see him winning the nomination. I don't think Hillary would either if she ran again. We will see who wins the nomination, and I am voting blue no matter who and if its Bernie I will vote for him.
Will you vote for the democrat no matter who? That is what I did last time, and that is what I will do again this time. Primaries and generals are two different things. But only the general gets you to the White House.

You're still not making any sense. You were a Bernie supporter during the primaries the last time; not a Hillary supporter. So of course no one would expect you to be a Hillary supporter in the primaries this time, either.
And people would have very good reason to not support Hillary this time, because she cheated in the primaries the last time, and then she went on to be defeated by Trump. No sane and ethical person would want to support her again.
But Bernie didn't do anything wrong. The acrimony in the 2016 primaries was over the thumb being on the scale for Hillary. Bernie wasn't responsible for that.
So again, what do I have to do with your decision to not support Bernie in the primaries?

YOUR FUCKING BEHAVIOR.
Your insisting that because I voted for Bernie in the primaries last time means I have to vote for him in the primaries this time too. THAT IS THE FUCKING PROBLEM.
And again, Hillary had the same sub sect of morons like you too.
If she were running this time and not Bernie, she ALSO would not be my first choice.
REGARDLESS of party, primaries in all of our history, ARE FOR competition of ideas. General elections are for unity.
Shell B is right, we need new blood. Precisely because of this.
We need someone who will not evoke an all or nothing mentality.
Now, give me some assurances you will vote for the nominee even if it is not Bernie. THAT and only that will ease my fears.
Otherwise you are proving my point.

I have told you over and over that I won't vote for one of the New Dems under any circumstances. I absolutely won't agree to support the Dem nominee until I see who they are. You keep demanding an assurance that I clearly won't give to you.
You can support whomever you choose in the primaries. BUT you have explicitly stated that you won't support Bernie just to screw with his supporters. I'm asking you to explain how that makes sense.
