I never ever FFwd'd through ER's theme song. Loved the relentlessness of the keyboards, the synth line that runs through it like the musical equivalent of the heart beat monitor, coupled with the frenetic lights and character clips of the visuals, it's like a musical embodiment of an ER. Love it. I confess to FFwding GOT's theme on rewatches even though I love the music and the building of the castles. Damn, YT autoplayed Dr. Greene's letter from season 8 and now I have the feels. 😭

I never fast forwarded Lost's theme
![]() ![]() Nor Star Trek... With the exception of Enterprise.
I only came to find out why everyone hated it so much. Lol
I see some good points made and I definitely think it would’ve been way better with 20 episodes instead of 6. But overall for a 6 episode season, I enjoyed it. One thing I found odd was how everyone complained about episode 3 being so dark. I mean there were some parts that were really dark but for the most part I could see fine. My favorite scene of the whole season was Tormund’s giant milk scene 😂 so that alone probably proves that it could’ve been better. On the one hand that was cool when we first got it, seeing all the areas of the castles that we'd visit in the episodes and watching the tiles creep closer to Winterfell. On the other hand it was really frustrating. After the Night King is killed, the map becomes stagnant; I thought for sure they were going to at least show silver tiles, or tiles with the direwolf on them, marching South toward King's Landing but nope, we just got a static map then. It would have been amazing if they had been defeated at Winterfell and retreated South (so Cersei and the NK would be defeated together) and we'd see the blue tiles marching further and further south toward the Crownlands. But alas, another missed opportunity.

I'm trying to binge Outlander as I have time now to fill the void. Seems like a decent show.
