A couple of things. Obviously, you’re applying your examples to public figures. That’s different from personal relationships. Also, no shit people are more protective of people they like. It’s par for course.

What bothers people about insulting the dead is that they can’t answer these insults. In this case, it’s also added to the pain of losing a friend. Whether or not you were bullied by this person, your comments have been tasteless. That’s fine if that’s your brand, but it’s every bit the truth.

From my point of view you deserve whatever you are given. In your vaunted philosophy, that you use others work as your own you still can't admit the simple truth that you get what you ask for. So GM was somewhat comparable to Bin Laden. I will wait until you explain to me that. One was a murderous fundie, another broke your fragile ego.

I don't think it is true, you have certainly not demonstrated it to be true. The deceased certainly was NOT a bully, I was on the forum for 4 years with this guy others even longer and I never saw him bully anyone he was a cool dude with a great sense of humour he was also a kind person, I saw him stick up for newcomers several times even when they behaved less than optimally. So that's one lie you've told that I'm almost certain of for starters. 

You just repeated your attack on the dead man in the post quoted above which is pretty damn vile but at this point not entirely to be unexpected as you have absolutely zero integrity, any shreds of respect I still had for you at this point have now evaporated completely, I will waste no more time on you.

Osama Bin Laden killed thousands of innocent people this is a proven fact . You have yet to provide any evidence of your claim that person said some mean things on the internet .

What does "vaunted" mean here? And I never use the work of others as my own. In fact I attribute the different ideas I refer to in order to avoid claiming others' work. So many people in history have been smarter than I am -- why should I disregard their work?

We all jousted and traded insults on TTA especially with trolls and the wilfully ignorant that's not bullying unless you have a serious safe space trigger warning mentality about things besides the rules on TTA permitted it and the deceased did no more of it than anyone else certainly not to the extent that normal people would consider it bullying.
