I honestly wonder WTF is wrong with people who continue to support him.
Yeah, my parents are gonna be waving a Trump 2020 flag too. Because socialism is evil, or something.
Living in Portugal betwixt social democrats and socialists per se (between the ravings of the communist party and others, things are not perfect. We do have a NHS.

National Health excuses a lot of the perceived ills of socialism.

'Perceived' ills, I said. It's harder for people to cling to the insane notion that socialism is going to wreck society if they can get their sick kid in to see the doctor without wondering if they can pay the electric at the same time.

Trump administration just announced its latest attack on Medicaid, allowing states to drastically limit spending on health care for low-income Americans.

Maybe Trump thinks that low-income American are all Democrats, and he's trying to get them to die off before the next election.

Numerous other effects from the pressure on workers to fulfill minimum quotas and nothing more to the secret police seen across the Warsaw Pact.
None of these however are likely to affect the US where the Democrats are still significantly to the right of right wing parties in Europe.
