You should rewatch the video - it never describes them as a species. Tardigrades are a phylum, comprising a whole lot (I think well over 1000) different species.

Since one of your mantras seems to be ‘humans are all the same species’, I thought you would have known this.

And as tough as they are, a tardigrade would never win a fight with a camel.

And as far as fights with other life, Tardigrades have survived all 5 mass extinction events in evolutionary history. I doubt camels, much less humans can do the same.

I didn’t say they’re not animals (they are). I said they’re not a species of animal. ‘Tardigrada’ is a phylum, not a species.
