Privilege is different to scorn or guilt or shame or blame.
Privilege is just recognizing when one is lucky and others are not.
Many people may fail to realize this and many people who believe in such privilege may indeed add scorn, guilt, shame, blame in to the equation. But they need not to that. And if they can't help doing it it's because humans are messy, frightful and silly creatures. But it need not be the case.
The true way of seeing and feeling privilege is to feel gratitude rather pride for the privilege one has and to feel compassion rather than superiority---and rather than pity or condescenstition---towards those who are less privileged than oneself.
I actually think it's rather beautiful when it's practiced and understood correctly.

privilege isn't luck. privilege is unearned merit.
you can have earned merit which is worthy of pride. You can have unearned merit which is best expressed with humility and appreciation.
scorn, guilt, shame, jealousy ... those are all emotional-isms people add when they feel a certain way about someone else's expression or possession of privilege.
People should generally worry much more about themselves than what others have/don't. Exceptions though, like systemic racism and police brutality, should be made when it gets harmful or out of control. When demonstrations turn to riots which turn to looting which turn to anarchy/ militant-ism is an example of a scale where emotional-isms unchecked and those feeling and needs for justification unanswered that should be watched closely. If it's not about scorn then why use the word privilege?
The very word that we poor people used to scorn the rich pigs.
No, fuck em.
I can care about others without have to subscribe to that bullshit. Because that's what it is. If someone chooses to be offended by that word that's their problem
I'm sorry there is no WE .You may use it to scorn rich people but when i say privilege and when countless other people say it they are simply pointing out a social dynamic.
Choose whatever wording you want but there's nothing wrong with pointing out privilege nor is it scornful unless someone's using it that way or someones fee fee are hurt by having pointed out.

My feelings aren't hurt by their disadvantage being pointed out.
That's just part of your arsenal, to put down any person who doesn't agree with you.
It's a left thing, just like cancel culture, of which you are the biggest offender here.
It's people like you who do use words like privilege scornfully.
I'm just gonna spit that word back in your fucking face every time you throw it at me.
Fuck you, cunt.

Nope a simply and honest assessment of power dynamics in society so this is a lie

Cancel culture is right wing victimhood when they have actually face the consequences of free speech. And no i'm not the "biggest offender " that's absurd .

I don't like it when people use accurate academic language to point out the fact in general certain demographics have more implicit social privilege then others . It's scornful even though i have nothing but my feels to back that claim up . I also don't like cancel culture even though it's just consequence of being of being an asshole and other people not putting up with it .

You're whole existence here is to single people out and stand on the their heads to make yourself feel bigger.
I've never seen a scrap of personality come from you that doesn't tie in to your agenda.
You know, you and I believe in most of the same things, but you're a predator.
I believe you will do more damage to any cause that your a part of than any good.

You will notice, quite plainly, that whenever someone says "All Lives Matter" it is meant as a counter to Black Lives Matter, rather than to prop up Black Lives Matter. Nobody ever says "Yeah, Black Lives Matters! All Lives Matter!" Instead of using it to fight for the likes of George Floyd or Breonna Taylor, they are used to defend the people who took their lives. "All Lives Matter" is an empty sentiment that the people who espouse don't even really believe. Because they aren't bothered by the death of George Floyd or Tamir Rice or Trayvon Martin. They are bothered by the fact that people are speaking out about it. It's pretty language designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
And you'll notice quite plainly that people who defend confederate statues have the greatest lack of knowledge of the history they so-claim to defend and care about. Apparently, if there's not a statue of someone -- we won't remember them. That's why we have statues of Hitler and Bin Laden in New York City. It's why everyone got so mad at the Iraqis when they tore down the statue of Saddam Hussein in Iraq. Or when the founding fathers tore down the statue of King George III, they were extremely upset about George Washington doing that. They totally ruined history!
But above all else, you'll find the people most bothered by being called a racist, are the ones who are most racist. They will insist "I'm not racist!" rather than listening to the people who point out their racism to them. They can't bother to actually give a damn about what anyone thinks but themselves. Because in the end, that's all they ever care about, and it's all they will ever care about. Which is why "All Lives Matter" means nothing more than "MY Life Matters". It's why history matters... when it's THEIR history. Ultimately they lack the empathy necessary to care about what other people think. Then they expect others to show empathy toward them.
