I suppose it would be better to just ignore the inane ramblings of the thread starter.
But we would miss out on so much if we did that.

The best thing the producers of ‘The Monkees’ did was to turn down that song. Nesmith sold it to the Stone Poneys and introduced Linda Ronstadt to the world.

While certainly not better than the original. Hetfield's voice doesn't compare to Freddie's, but the overall anger Metallica brings, does indeed do the song justice.
