Quote:Trump's HHS spokesman is considering taking medical leave after spreading wild conspiracies about armed left-wing 'hit squads' attacking Trump's inauguration

Department of Health and Human Services spokesperson Michael Caputo said Tuesday that he may take medical leave.

The announcement comes after Caputo went on a 26-minute Facebook rant peddling conspiracy theories, warning of an armed insurrection by left-wing groups after the election, and saying his "mental health has definitely failed."

He also predicted that Trump will win the election, Joe Biden will not concede, and when Trump "refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin."

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I've been hearing that some people are refusing to leave their homes in the path of wild fires because the interwebz says Antifa is going to loot their houses when they're gone.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Had a guy ask me if there was going to be a pandemic after the election.

I pointed out that lots of places had the virus but weren't having elections.

He replied that they weren't the US

Doh Arrgghh

This idea that popped into my mind tonight classifies as a conspiracy, surely.

I was just thinking Trump intentionally ignored warnings about C-19 in order to allow the disease to infect and take out the weaker citizens in our society. A Hitler-esque scenario.
