I have a question...
How did a helicopter crew counting sheep stay awake? Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" RE: Mysterious monolith found

I don’t think the riffraffs in their grungy black leather space suits and on their low rider custom flying saucers care. RE: Mysterious monolith found

As a Kubrick nut, I have to say, this is a shitty representation of the monolith. From what I can see of the Utah monolith,
Its proportions are wrong (Clarke specified a proportion of 1:4:9, with the more manageable sized monoliths [read: the ones in the original 2001] being 11 feet in length) and it’s not supposed to be reflective like this is, but black.

Safe bet - it was put there by somebody with a few extra bucks to spend - a sense of humor - and not just a little "fuck you" attitude.
And further bet - it won't be the only one found. Remember you heard it here first.... RE: Mysterious monolith found

And hopefully, at least one will be accurate to Kubrick’s vision, though it probably won’t, especially since, upon further inspection, it’s got three faces arranged in a triangular way. Shit, it’s probably not even a monolith!
