Whew.
Ya gotta be careful what you wish for....
I have always found all the separate hunting seasons for firearm, bow and muzzleloading to be a crock of shit. You should be able to use whatever you like - whenever. Well - they did - sorta. The deer overpopulation has gotten bad enough in this part of the state that they opened muzzleloading season to all legal firearns. The upshot is it makes the hunting season twice as long for guys like me - who don't want to play with primative firearms. The downside - i am gonna be stuck out here hunting till the end of the year - or I get sick of it and just give up...... 3 deer down - 3 to go....
It's nice to see them change the regs to respond. If people don't start shooting more horned rats, there wont be any horned rats left in this country for long.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
I'm betting the automobile insurance companies campaigned for the longer season. I used to see pictures of accidents with four pointy little feet sticking out of a windshield and reading about the family of four in the car. The kids were stuck in the backseat with both parents dead up front for three hours because the car went off the road and into scrub, holding the doors shut.

One guy I used to fly rc with had one come thru the window behind the drivers seat in a minivan. 10 point buck. It did not die - and was thrashing around. The dude stopped andbjumped out - locking the door accidentally . Cop that showed hadta break window to get in and shoot the deer... Quite the mess. I once had a fish come through the windscreen of a car. No police were involved. Boru

I had a chinese pheasant do that once. (Not to be confused with a Chinese peasant) How does a fish do it?
Missionary style.

I suspect it was dropped by an osprey. The first thing I did was drive home and take Polaroids of it, because I could just hear my friends: ‘SUUUURE your windscreen got smashed by a fish...’ Boru
