2. Whether or not you care is irrelevant. The point stands.

I'm guessing we're never gonna see that evidence. Put up or shut up.

Over at Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump has been served with Rep. Bennie G Thompson's lawsuit accusing him of violating the Ku Klux Klan Act in connection with the U.S. Capitol insurrection.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I'm guessing we're never gonna see that evidence. Put up or shut up. I guess you're never going to answer my questions or live up to your own standard. Oh well

You want an answer? I haven't said anything remotely similar to what you're asking about.
Now, what standard would that be that I'm not living up to, and when are we gonna see some evidence?

1. So again no answer, And yes that question directly references our earlier point
2. I already pointed this out in post #3559 on my second point
3. See point 1

Well, first of all, none of this answers what standard of mine I'm not living up to. If you're gonna accuse somebody of something and then not back it up, you look like an ass.
Second, I asked you for evidence and you asked whether I was arguing if tea partiers would have voted Democrat if somebody other than Hillary was running, to which I would answer that it doesn't matter as I made clear in my initial post that his support among his base wasn't what swung the election but rather what happened in the middle. If you want to dispute that and argue that a more robust base won him the election, you need to provide some evidence for that. At this point I don't even care if I'm right, what seems more relevant is that you seem to be dicking me and everybody else in this thread around in order to avoid actually supporting the shit you posted.
I haven't posted anything substantive since that initial post. The only thing I've done is ask for evidence. You could have provided evidence for anything and I would have been happy. If you'd misunderstood what I was asking evidence for, I could have said so. But it seems rather funny that this sudden need for additional clarity about what I was saying didn't materialize when you were replying to me, it just magically appeared upon your being asked for evidence. Funny how that is.
And I still have no idea what you mean when you say I'm not living up to my own standard. I have some guesses, but they are only guesses.
What the fuck are you accusing me of?

Except I didn't accuse you of anything. You literally said
Quote:The statistics say otherwise. The middle hated Trump, but they hated Hillary more, and that swung key states and districts.
I was pointing out you didn't provide evidence for this claim. Then you demand evidence from me. (though it turns out your right)
Quote:Second, I asked you for evidence and you asked whether I was arguing if tea partiers would have voted Democrat if somebody other than Hillary was running, to which I would answer that it doesn't matter
See was that difficult?

I didn't dispute that. So what am I supposed to be proving?

No idea what you're saying here

Nothing because it's not an accusation.

I'm sorry, could you link me to where I was asked to provide evidence? If I overlooked it, I most certainly will apologize for my failure to address it.

You suggested that I would never live up to my own standard. That would be a silly thing to say if I had already met my standard, so obviously you were accusing me of not having done so. So what standard of mine is it that you were accusing me of not having lived up to?

So what standard of mine is it that you were accusing me of not having lived up to? 1. Wheater you were asked or not you made a claim that you didn't back with evidence. Thus the standard claims should be backed up with evidence was not been met.
2. I said in this instance you made a claim you didn't back it while asking i back up a claim. And it wasn't an accusation that has a specific moral implication. I was simply pointing out what I feel is an inconsistency without inferring any duplicity or malice behind it.
