Raising the minimum wage won't help

RE: Raising the minimum wage won't help
Eliminating the lower income free market is actually Biblical, KJV and Catholic editions. It is among the prayers of the Christian-based sects--In Fact, and for centuries,. The reference would be located in Matthew 25: 14-30. One third of the fable's population gets 5 Talents. One Third of the fable's population gets 2 Talents. One third of the fable's population gets 1 Talent. That is money that the two-thirds apparently put to the money-changers, and each double what they had: Fixed percentage usury computing. The one-third with one Talent can't possibly keep up with the other two--high risk, low reward. Of the Imperial Roman era, the money gets buried for safe-keeping. So it isn't even put to the market-place, for goods and services.

The upper two-thirds get rewarded, the top with even the one talent. The lower one third of the fable get thrown clear out of the story: Set to predators, there is weeping and gnashing of teeth--even possible of devoured children.

That last is not far-fetched. Imperial Rome knew about baby abandonment. How it got applied in rural areas is not recorded, but in urban areas is of record. At least one Medieval Holy Father knew about baby abandonment. The context of that "Foundling Wheel" creation is that the Roman Faithful were using the Tiber River to throw them away instead.

One or more Red States, Indiana of Mike Pence, an example: Created legal Drop-Off Boxes for baby abandonment, starting 2016.

So there is a gruesome story in play: And following what-ever the New Testament, likely script-writers: Were messaging--likely them all. New Testament knows about hookers, even. The Chinese know about birth restrictions.

The recognition of a market-place--currency dependent--doesn't really much arise until the Ford Administration: Subsequent Nixon-McGovern. Nixon proposed usury computed wage and price guidelines. McGovern proposed $1000 for everyone USA: A source of derision for better-known liberal, Senator/Vice-President Humphrey. The Equal-Amount child tax-credit would be followed by the raised and indexed, equal-amount, Standard Deduction and Personal Exemptions in the 1986 Tax Reform. Obama-Biden would create a Refundable Make-Work-Pay equal amount Tax credit. The 2nd Bush Atrocity failed to notice that tax-reforms were making lower incomes tax-free. Tax cuts were not longer a stimulus. The Republicans took the Obama-Biden refundable credit away. That was first order of business, subsequent the first Mid-Terms.

Any needs of the lower-income market were not being addressed, or even understood--or acknowledged. The equal-amounts message of Matthew 20: 1-16, itself never gets cited. Look in any textbooks, ask any teachers.

The lower 1/3 of any stories--for all the ages: Had no money, and insufficient money: Even to prime a thriving market-place. There was even a backdrop, Roman-Era known. Koran would ban the Usury, but not bring up the other computing.

All that Post-Kennedy-Johnson history is only few decades after the Great Depression, that even followed by the Holocaust of variously subjugated peoples. Any War On Poverty, never materialized.

Even now, more likely the 2nd Amendment rights of the Capitol rioters will draw more national and media attention than even the Recent Stimulus, and the Recent deficit-expanding infrastructure measures. Violent government overthrow is the New Republicans National Message. Good Catholic Biden, and the administration: Rarely reference the income support requirements of the lower 1/3: Child Care or Family Assistance needed infra-structure.

Similar to the messaging of at least someone deranged: "And then It's on To Harvard, And then On To Yale, and Then on to Dartmouth: Yee-Haw!" (The fellow lost his own election.)

Widely unknown: The Great Mystery remains.

"Who Knew(?")!"

Nah I'm the winner who demolishes your knuckle-dragging ass and actually understands the difference between criticizing someone on a public forum and "following them around " And even if I wanted to (which I sure as hell don't) I could never get my nose up your ass as your head is firmly wedged up there.

Yeah because you know I own your ass and can't bring yourself to face it. Because you're a cowardly bitch and a mental midget to boot.

Don't expect to be able to support yourself.
Which assumes that
A) The job market isn’t jacked to the point where college degrees are damn near worthless (note: this has been the case for well over a decade.)
B) The only people working at McDonald’s are those who don’t have other skills and that any jobs with skills they do have are comparatively easy to get.
C) Someone working at McDonald’s has enough disposable income to buy flowers for their mother
D) Someone who works 8 hours a day somehow doesn’t necessarily deserve to survive on the wages they earn (not even thriving, just being able to meet their basic lower-tier Maslovian needs, shit like being able to keep a roof over their heads that isn’t cardboard or food in their stomachs they didn’t have to take from a dumpster, which isn't really possible anymore if you're just trying to live on a $7.25/hour minimum wage.)

But Rye fast food employees don't deserve to be able to eat or have a place of their own to live. Only the "worthy" deserve those things in OLB Economic Darwinian model  Dodgy

Okay, seriously, maybe Nomad hasn't bothered to update his avatar? Or that Ireland's still got laws regarding mask mandates?
