Just read on Twitter about a cop who promoted that crap as a cure, and was anti-vax and anti-mask, has just died of Covid.

Ditto. Anyone stupid enough to ingest a neurotoxin to treat a viral infection deserves what they get.
I did some numbers - the LD50 of ivermectin for is 2.2mg/kg. This translates for someone my size to seven thousandths of an ounce.

Many people don't know that the same drug companies who make people medicine also make animal medicine.
Due to us kids constantly having strep throat, dad bought bottles of 1,000 Amoxicillin to have around the house. I remember a road trip the family made when dad stopped and wrote a prescription for Dramamine for my brother as we hadn't even made it out of the state before he started barfing.
Baby pigs were treated with several concoctions dad put together. One of the ingredients was called, in the veterinary world, corrective mixture. It was basically Pepto-Bismol with paregoric...yeah, we took that too. If you look it up you'll find that paregoric is an opiate. He purchased it in gallon jugs.
Lots of things were used by the people in our house for injuries and ailments but wormer/parasite treatments weren't among those things.
He had the best stuff for a sore throat that came in a small spray bottle...lord knows how much sister and I used before we were informed it shouldn't be taken internally - ooops. It tasted like bananas so we assumed it was okay. It was some sort of anesthetic. Who knew? I actually think mom suggested we use it.

I didn’t do a god damned thing today, and it felt great! I had 19 bench trials this week. Drove 500+ miles. I earned it, and it feels *so* good!
