Russia and Ukraine
RE: Russia and Ukraine
If the war continues to go badly for Russia, Putin may have to do the unthinkable and steal his next election.

Also, there is yet another indication of how badly this invasion was planned and executed: There are reports of Russian troops freezing to death inside their stalled tanks. There was a time when fighting in winter was Russia's go-to move.

Perhaps not, but it was bloody effective against Napoleon and Hitler.

I'm sure the DMR ASU (That's the Dublin Metropolitan Region Armed Support Unit to you plebs who don't know Garda speak) could have asked the RPU or the Comm Pol* for a lend of their gay pride vehicles.

If the recent war didn’t clue you in, he wrote an entire fucking essay explaining that he not only doesn’t see the Ukrainian state as legitimate, he sees its mere existence as comparable to a WMD attack against them. And this essay is apparently required reading in the Russian military. Also, If I’m reading this accurately, I suspect that if Ukraine falls, Putin’s next target is probably going to be Belarus.

He doesn't need to attack Belarus, he already owns it as this war has shown. However, some Belorussian generals may find themselves becoming modern Tuchachevskys.

As well as Russian generals, if this war doesn’t turn around for Russia pretty soon. Putin’s formative years were in the KGB, so there’s no doubt he’s comfortable with torturing ‘confessions’ out of people.
