I've been so-so on Will Smith's acting for a while now, but this was disgusting behavior.  You have to physically protect your wife against bald jokes?  It is far better to laugh over her losing her hair that treat it like a tragedy.

I think Will Smith has let fame go to his head.  He and his family aren't the biggest things in the world.

In any other world except Hollywood, Smith would be up on charges.

Just don't make a joke about his ears if you don't want to see some real violence.

A 72-year-old woman with dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD) was the first patient to receive an artificial retina implant as part of the multicenter PRIMAvera clinical trial, which is looking at the safety and efficacy of the PRIMA system.

The PRIMA artificial retina system has three elements: a tiny wireless retinal implant; a pair of glasses with a camera and digital projector; and a portable processor connected to the projector. The camera captures visual scenes from the surrounding environment. The processor uses algorithms to process and simplify the images, which are then sent back to the glasses. The digital projector uses pulses of infrared light to project the processed images onto the retinal implant's photovoltaic receptors. These receptors then convert the optical information into electrical stimulation, which excites the nerve cells of the inner retina, allowing them take in the information and transmit it, via the optic nerve, to the brain. This then induces visual perception.

I can tell you it ain' t something you make jokes about.... Not unless you want to get set on fire while sleeping - or worse.

I don't condone Smith' s behavior - but I can sure understand it. I am sure Rock realizes he fucked up and crossed a line. Taking the shot and letting it slide is the only recourse that keeps him from looking like a punk. A quiet, private appology to the lady is also in order....

Well, Smith did overact. Chris was being an insensitive prick. No one looks good here.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

He may be overestimating the impact it would have on his movies. Coffee

Imagine the carnage if Will Smith had ever taken his wife to a Don Rickles show.

Any plans for a Will Smith Roast have no doubt been canceled.

I was thinking about that yesterday regarding Bruce Willis.  Watch that roast.  It's savage.  Here just the Nikki Glaser part:

Susan Collins (R-Maine) has stated she will vote for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. She is the only GOP senator thus far to indicate support, but after Joe Manchin confirmed he would vote for her last week, we now know for certain that Jackson will have at least 50 votes. As long as Sinema tows the party line, we’ll be looking at least at a 51-49 decision. I suspect many eyes will be on Romney and Murkowski now.
