Who will be next Republican presidential candidate?

I think DeSantis is more likely the candidate than Abbott though neither is a choice worth considering.
But then, I don't see that there's a decent Democratic nominee either. It's going to be another election of picking the lesser or two evils.  RE: Who will be next Republican presidential candidate?

When Bush started his war mongering and attacks, I thought, it couldn't get any worse. On another forum, alomst two decades ago, I remarked half jokingly, one of the next American presidents will be picked from a tree. Trump fit that description to a tee. I'm long past assuming, it can't get any worse.
