Good Faith Media: Global Christian Population to reach 3.3 BN by 2050.

Quote:Re-read the Argument I made above, which wasn't at all what Fake Messiah, being the Fake Messiah that he is, lyingly characterized it as. Rather, it was a Prophetic Proof of the Truth of Christianity, because God demonstrably foretold something in records written down long ago, and then has demonstrably brought it to pass in the world today. By this, God has given sufficient demonstrations of His Power, His Knowledge and His Love to all open to His Truth
You had no argument and fake was correct as usual

(July 29, 2023 at 2:04 am)Nishant Xavier Wrote: Nope. Let me make another argument. (1) God foretold 4000 years ago to Abraham that his descendants, those who believed in the True God as he did, would be as numerous as the sand on the seashore, or the stars in the sky, which is to say those who believed in the God of Abraham would be extremely and greatly numerous, and also widespread across all nations. (2) 4000 years later, to the astonishment of the world, this has manifestly come true already, as the World approaches 3 BN Christians. (3) Therefore, in light of this, it's reasonable to believe, only an Omniscient God could have known that at that time, and only an Omnipotent God could have brought it about. This is why the Scriptures exist btw, as an Eternal Record of these things that happened millenia ago.

Genesis 26:4: "I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed".

Almighty God, Whose Word can never fail to come to pass. Glory be to You forever and forever. In Lord Jesus Christ's Holy Name. Amen.

But that hasn't happened, and the odds that it will ever happen are so small as to not be worth considering. Estimates vary, but it seems likely that there are about 200 billion trillion stars. You're closer with the 'grains of sand', but that's still never going to happen. At any given moment, there is something like 7 quintillion grains of sand on Earth's beaches/seashores (the number jumps considerably if you add in all the sand other places).

Either of these numbers is vastly more than the number of humans, dead or alive, that have ever lived and - to a metaphysical certainty - will EVER have lived.

So, is Genesis 26:4 a failed prophecy?

Bolding mine.

You dont speak for christianity. Your hybris and vanity got the better of you...again. Your god will not like this.
Back on topic: There are thousands of christian denominations, mostly classifying each other as heretics  There is no "we" but the very core belief in a god and christ. Everything else is being fought over in wars, to the death, up to genociding other christians (Albigensian Crusade).

Not according to all those denominations the RCC literally, and physically wiped out. Or all those non trinitarians in the Arab world, whom Islam, fortunately for you (oh the irony) removed from the landscape.

Fallacious reasoning, but this has never stopped you in the past and it wont ever stop you in the future from making such unreasonable statements

There is no good reason to think Abraham even existed.

Empty threads, based on barbarism, because you have no real arguments and because its beyond cruel to condemn people to eternal torture because of their beliefs. Its even worse when someone like you seemingly is getting a boner at the thought of it.

The reality is: All thats gonna be left of you is the memory of a cruel and ignorant person that wasted its entire life being a shitty person. You are not special, quite the opposite. Your existence will have been one of the most meaningless of all human beings.

Then what business do you have here, lying your ass off for Jesus and slandering (a mortal sin too!) an entire group of people like Atheists?

That's not what neurological science says. Our consciousness requires a living brain operating at 3-4 Hz or higher. Any lower than that and we're insentient.

Can you remember anything from last night's slow-wave (delta frequency) sleep? No? That is what you're likely to encounter after death. A dead brain with no functional neurons or synapses will just decay into non-functional goo. It cannot be self-aware. It cannot think. It cannot feel. It cannot believe or worship.

"The Truth," Nishant, is that your faith is very likely to dissolve into unthinking glop very shortly after the death of your physical body, and I believe with close to 100% certainty that you will never see heaven.

"Most scholars view the patriarchal age, along with the Exodus and the period of the biblical judges, as a late literary construct that does not relate to any particular historical era, and after a century of exhaustive archaeological investigation, no evidence has been found for a historical Abraham."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham#:~...%20Abraham.

There is also a more complex geographical argument which demonstrates that the locations mentioned in the Bible for Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are not possible.
Abraham was said to have come from Ur. The only historical kernel that may be true in the myth is that the "move" may be related to the Hurrian Invasion.

Yahweh's agreements / covenants / promises are rather worthless.
He made one with Noah : "Genesis 9:12-17 12God said, “This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations ; I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be (rainbow) etc.

Then he made a different one with Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus. They were ALL said to be everlasting .... until they weren't.

And they wouldn't lie about their "success" now would they. Just because their whole premise is based on a fictional character doesn't mean they're not honest about everything else.

Indeed it's not like a Christain organization wouldn't lie about its numbers or anything also this estimate assumes a lot to get it's conclusions

I'm not impressed by quotes from a book of mythology.

Would you give it a fucking rest? You picked the wrong target audience and you obviously can't read a room. Nobody here has a single fuck to give about any of your bullshit, lies and disinformation.
