Either way, it is possible that the current majority of the US, the whites, can be replaced and surpassed, not just by Hispanics, but any race there is. I can see and imagine whites, especially those who discriminate other races, trying to keep their power in any way possible, even if it is dirty and bad. In the end, though, that would be a means of unwanted suppression of other races.

They try to keep the white population growing by making them ignorant and banning abortion... just like Florida is doing with their book banning and the recent country-wide removal of Roe v.Wade.
Ignorant people have kids early in life which then feed the capitalist and have their own kids early in life and rinse and repeat.
The way people move worldwide means that the population will eventually be all mixed. It may take a few hundred of years, but it will happen. Conservatives will do their darnest to delay this wherever in the world they hold power... and the methods they will use will only get worse and more desperate with time.

Religion, especially Abraham's christiboi religion, is deeply woven into every stitch of "Murica's" politics.
Secondly, the pasties are deeply concerned that the country they stole, will be stolen from them.

I see. Well, as long as mankind has existed, or for a very long time, religion has been used as a means of power, so the fact that at least republicans do that kind of thing and try to incorporate religion with US politics is not too surprising.

Also, on what I said about Hispanics becoming the majority in the future, I must clarify that I did say in my initial post that I learned that in the 2000s in high school, and that was a long time ago, and I do acknowledge things change, and have changed since then.

My point in the post you quoted wasn't the drive to inject religion into politics, which is indeed ubiquitous. My point was the hypocrisy of those who pay lip-service to originalism while ignoring one of the founders' most basic tenets.

I think I hurt something either by laughing or by all my joints seizing up. I was in HS in the 70s.
