MTG Ends Up With Egg on Her Face While Grilling FBI Director (msn.com)

Christopher Wray hilariously corrected Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) when the lawmaker mistakenly suggested the FBI director actually works for the Department of Homeland Security. During a Wednesday hearing, the congresswoman intensely questioned Wray about a pro-Palestine rally at the U.S. Capitol last month, arguing that it was an insurrection. She held up a poster of a text message from a top lawyer for the Southern Poverty Law Center that allegedly showed the group’s involvement in the protest. Greene asked Wray if he saw reports of the conversation involving the “Global Intifada group” on her account on X, formerly Twitter, to which he replied that he didn’t use the platform much. In disbelief, she said, “I’m sure you do, because the Department of Homeland Security, organized with other offices, has censored many Americans, including myself,” leading Wray to flatly respond, “I’m not part of the Department of Homeland Security.”

They really did take their ball and went home.  Buncha damn babies.

House abruptly heads home early after conservatives retaliate over Johnson's government funding plan (msn.com)

WASHINGTON – House lawmakers abruptly went home a day early partially due to a familiar sight for the House Republican conference: a rebellion from the lower chamber’s most conservative lawmakers.

The quick departure came just one day after passing a short-term stopgap measure to avert a government shutdown.

OFC. The no votes came almost entirely from the nut caucus who wanted it last week....and the so called moderates ending up signing on to it despite opposing it just last week. The practical upshot is that we'll get to see twice the amount of good old brinksmanship every few (legislative) weeks.

Everybody clap.

Every time I hear more about MTG and her actions, I swear I become more idiotic. I mean, why is she in congress anyway?

She is way too ignorant to be a part of congress, anyway. Congress would be better off without her.

There seems to be more and more of them...or maybe it's just this new crop isn't bright enough to hide their idiocy.  There have been dumbasses in Congress that were at least smart enough to shut up and giggle all the way to the bank.

Why? Now lets see. Daddy owned a construction company. She hired a DC firm and loaned herself 500k but, seeing she couldn't win, fucked off from the district she wanted (and lived in) to warm a seat being vacated by a fellow nut in a safe district with an empty race. Then she grifted 2 million more off various marks, suckers, rubes and villains by shaking the skeleton of some dead socialist around and dumped another 500k of her own in there because why not, right? End of the day, there weren't enough griftbux left for any other nut to credibly run.

That's the why, the whole why, there is no more why to mad marge in congress.
