My floridian take, is that they found a way to reach into a high schools concession till. That's governance in a reich wing kleptocracy.

Ron DeSantis repeatedly spread false information about doctors mutilating children’s genitals even though there’s been no such documented cases. I’ve said before that the youngest I’ve been able to find ANY trans person getting bottom surgery is 16, and even that’s slightly more common than hen’s teeth. It never ceases to amaze me how they’ve been able to get away with such a whopper.

I think that if a transgender individual really wants to transition, like they've got their heart set on it, it should be made as simple and easy as possible for them, they shouldn't have to worry about what it might cost (monetarily) and potential complications should be minimized, or ideally, eliminated completely.
