When my son was a toddler, his sisters dressed him up in a pink flowered outfit that had belonged to my child when she was that age. Fast forward several years when he and other members of the football team dressed up as cheerleaders...I thought the sparkly lip gloss was a nice touch. No one was hurt; nor forever traumatized.

People need to get over themselves.

Exactly. I’m not sure why people feel the need to weigh in on this sort of thing at all. Just as it’s wrong to criticize this woman for putting her son it a dress, it’s not some courageous, praiseworthy act either. It’s a little boy in a dress. Sheesh.

I’m much more concerned about adults - people who are allowed to drive, have jobs, sign contracts - who feel the need to dress themselves up as pirates, cowboys, wizards, and Klingons on the regular.

Well, if you must know.....let me tell you a story.

This one time, while I was on vacation, unbeknownst to me the hotel was hosting a seminar on seminaring. As I was walking through the lobby, the main speaker, (a bigly name in the seminaring circles) came up to and said, 'Sir, sir, I love you sir. Can you please take my place as the lead speaker? You sir, are great. I love you sir. And even though I am a best selling author, and having written several books on the subject, and I have a PHDMB in seminaring and socializingology, I would pale in comparison to what you and your spectacularly, stunningly, super, significantly specialism could do the crowd."  Light bulbs, it's a hell of a thing......isn't it? You know, they wanted to take your light bulbs away, force you to use candles. I put a stop to that. I would not let that happen. I looked at the president of light bulb university, and said we can't do that. Po-ta-toes! Boil them, mash them, stick them in a stew. Lovely big golden chips with a nice piece of fried fish.
