She gave a good fight, but he won
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I learned a *lot* about what to watch others for, when driving.
It's to the point where I'll point out developing conflicts between vehicles to the wife, with the predicted outcomes usually happening.
She thinks I'm a wizard traffic whisperer now.
Disappointing theists since 1968!

Wedding in Russia. A fight, vodka, the bride peeing while standing...

Lately, I've been watching videos of crazy Karens getting arrested by the police. Before watching these videos, I had no idea that the police had to deal with loonies like this.
