Interesting observation, I wouldn't know what it means, but I am curious what's meant by "mirroring". It means I mirror the behavior of those with whom I directly interact. If someone is rude to me, I'm rude right back. So far, due to how it's primarily a subconscious behavior, it seems to be something I cannot control. In fact, I'm unaware that it has occurred until after the interaction.

Mirroring can also be picking up hand gestures, certain facial expressions, use of the same words...most things are quite subtle.

Yes, the hand gesture thing happened the other day. Didn't occur to me it was happening until my hands were clasped on the counter in the same position as the other person's.

Thanks, I was thinking it was something else. I've been told what I do is 'masking', but it involves some mimicking behavior, I wondered if it was related.
