Trump just named Right wing podcaster Dan Bongingo Deputy Director of the FBI.
You know, one of the leading spreaders of misinformation about the 2020 election. He was also banned from YouTube for spreading misinformation about COVID.
If you were to speculate before the election that Trump might nominate the people he now has, you would have been accused of alarmism and "Trump derangement syndrome".

Trump fired several 4-star generals and then the three top Judge Advocate Generals. The JAGs have the last word on whether of not an order is lawful. There is only one obvious reason a Commander in Chief fires all of them: They are in the way of him doing something illegal with the military. He's replacing everyone at the top with his hand-picked goons so he can use the military in any way he wants.
No reason to worry. I'm sure he wouldn't send Delta Force after his political enemies or anything like that.

I sure hope he's right. Even if he is though, we're talking about potentially major clashes within the military. Imagine the most powerful military force on Earth at war internally with itself. What could possibly go wrong?
