I've written my first German song... that uses only one sentence
(Ich habe mein erstes deutsches Lied geschrieben, das nur einen Satz benutzt):

Wenn das Leben dir Zitronen gibt, Kopf hoch!
(Hopefully) roughly translated as 'when life gives you lemons, chin up!' and to the tune of "she'll be coming round the mountain when she comes", in which it fits perfectly.

For me that's a catchy little reminder of some grammar and a pick-me-up in one, in today's lemon-filled world.

Someone at work mentioned the lyrics to a song. I said it seemed familiar. Turns out, upon a Google search, I don't know the song since I never really listened to the artist. The song is "Cry Me A River".
