Trump appears to have ignored a court order. Here we go. Congress is feckless, now the Judiciary is neutered.

Congress makes the law. The Judiciary interprets the law. The executive enforces the law. What happens when that last part doesn't happen?

Trump told them he would do this. They voted for him thinking it would happen to someone else. They didn't care about that someone else.

It's getting harder and harder to see what slivers of our democracy are left surviving even until midterms, when the brakes could be applied. It may be time to start looking toward what comes after the long night of Emperor Trump's rule.

He has declared pardons issued by his predecessor to be null and void because of the use of an autopen. 

He is openly challenging whether the constitution applies to him. He seems assured that it does not.
