Quote: The Dow, after rising nearly 3,000 points Wednesday, fell more than 1,000 points, or 2.68%, Thursday morning. The S&P 500 fell 3.2% and the Nasdaq Composite slid 3.8%. The S&P 500 is coming off its best day since 2008, and the Nasdaq on Wednesday posted its second-best daily gains in history.
Goldman Sachs said Wednesday after Trump’s partial detente that recession chances in the United States were still a coin flip. JPMorgan Wednesday evening said the bank would not alter its recession forecasts, still seeing a 60% chance of a US and global recession even after Trump’s “positive” decision to unwind his “draconian” country-specific tariffs.

Wednesday’s huge jump was the result of 1) investors picking up bargains, and 2) short sellers having to meet margin calls. It was not an increase in investor confidence, as shown by today’s (currently) 1500 point drop.

Wednesday's jump appears to be the result of market manipulation. There was a VERY suspicious spike in call options less than half an hour before the announcement was made - as if some insiders knew what was about to happen.
The intraday spike the previous day appeared to be a test (leak and then deny the leak that TFG is considering a pause).

I'm sure that Pam and the SEC will investigate that possibility diligently.

Is there any more crucial concern? Come now.
Maybe if people stopped flushing their toilets so often (as bothered Trump before) there would be enough water pressure.

Maybe if people stopped flushing their toilets so often (as bothered Trump before) there would be enough water pressure. I don't know how toilets flush in the US, but in the UK, it has fuck all to do with mains water pressure. That only dictates how quickly the cistern fills, the volume of the cistern determines the power of the flush. Likewise mains water pressure per se has nothing to do with the pressure from a mixer shower, fed by a combi boiler, it's the pump in the boiler that determine how many litres / min come through the shower head. I am pretty sure you can increase the pressure through an electric shower with an independent pump as well. Maybe Trump can't afford a big enough boiler? I guess if they're made of gold it can be quite expensive.
Or does Senator Palpatine know something I don't?
