Non-citizen criminals? A non-negligible number of the people Trump sent there haven’t even been accused of a (serious*) crime by anyone else but the Trump administration. Indeed, some people seem to have just been rounded up by ICE just because they were there.
I can remember an old talk by Ben Shapiro where he balks at the idea of mass incarceration because (at least prior to 2020) we weren’t just taking minorities and rounding them up with lassos. Now, we’re getting cases of exactly that, and I picture him saying “mmm… still doesn’t count because there’s no lassos involved.” Clip is 16 minutes in.
Hell, this has happened in my own hometown. Granted, that particular block of Oakton Street isn’t one of my stomping grounds, but the fact that it’s happening so close to me is terrifying.
Thank fuck I’m just a white boy.
* I admit that, technically, some (maybe a majority) weren’t here legally. That said, getting a look at how Byzantine the actual process of getting a green card is disabused me of any notion that this was a malum in se.

My guess is that Christians are slowly realizing that their pro-life messiah is not so pro-life as he condemns hundreds of Christians to death.
Quote:Why is America deporting them? Afghan Christians have 4 days left
The collective gasp in the sanctuary on Sunday was audible. Amidst the celebrations of Palm Sunday, my pastor told us about the email that around 25 members of our community had received just days before. I have since read that email for myself. I am stunned and devastated.
These are not criminals. They are not members of foreign, violent gangs. They have not committed crimes while they have been in the United States. They did not enter illegally. They are not undocumented.
Despite following all of the rules and procedures, these Afghan Christians are now facing deportation. They have been given seven days to leave the country. As of today, four days left.
But they have nowhere to go. The only legal option available to them is to return to Afghanistan. If they do so, they will be tortured and killed. This is not just a possibility, but a certainty. And it is not just these 25 Christians, but hundreds like them across the country. Additionally, this same action also applies to Afghans who risked their lives to work with the U.S. military during our years of operations in the country.

They're getting there. You know, baby steps.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

And there's zero.point.zero Christians here in America speaking up about this. If they were white the uproar would be deafening.

Just as there was no uproar over Hitler. The Catholic church never miscommunicated him. They were complicit - just as the religious Reich in America is complicit about Trump. It will bite them in the ass. It will accelerate their downfall.

You WANT shit to get bad so what? people "wake up"? Guess what. the other side is doing the exact same thing. It's not a mystery. your explination of shit and their explation of shit doesn't change the fact that it's shit. We know it's bad. both sides use poor people like a silent majority. Truth is, being poor sucks ass. Stop fussing over why.

He didn't write that he wanted shit to get bad. Read closer. Reporting a state of affairs is not necessarily approving that state of affairs.

Trump deporting American citizens to el salvador
Meanwhile in Germany: head of AfD faction in German parliament wants to revoke citizenship to those who have dual citizenship and commit a crime.
Nothing to see here, move along. Politicians are all the same... Well all fascists are.

Poland too eagerly hops into fascism crap: Poland has refused to accept asylum claims from 12 people who have crossed the border from Belarus in the first week since it implemented a tough new law suspending asylum rights.
Human rights groups, including the UN’s refugee agency, have criticised the measures as a violation of Poland’s obligation under international law [and written into polish constitution] to accept asylum claims. But the government argues that they are a necessary response to the “weaponisation” of migration by Belarus and Russia.
[addition in parenthesis by me]
Fascist rhetoric always aim to create state of exception. In III Reich constitution wasn't done away with, just suspended, like it is now in Poland.
