I'm not sure what to call it in my case, but the three dogs were barking like mad the other day, and I "raised my voice". Maybe "Parade Ground command volume"? They all shut up, and the instigator, the 18 month old Chihuahua came over and looked over the gate I use to keep them out of my carving area with a quizzical look like, "WTF just happened". I very seldom raise my voice, but my wife is always yelling about something or other. Some contrast, there.
BoT, I'd prefer that the chump's new Air Farce One use plenty of lead, no gold.

I'll point out the obvious that that 747 in addition to not having the equipment needed for Air Force One is not remotely secure. It could be thoroughly bugged, the avionics could be hacked to be remotely controlled, hell, it could even be rigged to explode. How long would it take to go through the entire plane and be sure it's safe? Even then, could they be sure there are no deliberate flaws hidden in critical areas of the air frame?
I don't see any way the Secret Service or the Air Force would buy off using this plane for any government business - let alone as Air Force One.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Let him take it wherever he wants to go. What could possibly go wrong?  Leave the USSS and others off when he shuttles back and forth. Those people are worth something to the US public.

Someone was suggesting earlier that it may take long enough to inspect and convert that the jet wouldn't be available for service before Trump leaves office.

They were horsing around on the flightline in front of the fire station, and our assistant chief was trying, futilely, to call them into order. I saw this, stood at attention, and channeling my drill sgt, SSgt Gibson, called out "Reservists, fall in!" They were in a rough line in about fifteen seconds. Chief Ostrom came over to me and patted me on the back -- "Gossett, you should have been a DI." A command voice is one that brooks no argument. "I'm in charge here" has to sound real, you have to believe it -- or at least make them think you do.
