But that’s not an answer to what I asked you. At best, it’s an evasion (it’s also factually incorrect, but that’s a different kettle of a horse of another colour). When aswering a hypothetical, the respondent is not permitted to add clauses of his own.

But I didn’t ask how old the pig iron was (which you got wrong, btw). Pig iron is not a vase.
