Ability goes along the same route.  Not having the ability to exercise a right also should not, and is not, contended to be the absence of its possession as a right.

One man's charm is another man's cockiness. Rights in the US are defined in written law. In that sense, and only that sense, are they objective.

And since you're complaining about semantics, maybe don't engage in them. You've made the claim now three times that rights are not abstractions (well, this last time you backed up and wrote that they may not be) -- but you have yet to show even a jot how they are concrete.

If rights exists by being defined in written law that would make them relative, not objective - but being written into law is how they are or can become concrete - technically speaking. Personally, I believe we have rights whether they're written in us law (or anyone's law) or not. Just as I believe we have rights even as they're being violated. You wont be surprised to find that I believe we have rights not specifically enumerated, not made explicitly concrete. My favorite part of the bill of rights is the 9th, after all. What rights do we possess? All the rights.

Massive Grindr outage reports coincide with the Charlie Kirk memorial service in Arizona

Rightwing personality Charlie Kirk's memorial service took place in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday. And, surely by complete coincidence, Grindr experienced outages in the area around the same time.

There were over 168 reports of Grindr outages on Sunday evening, a staggering increase from the baseline number of two. A heat map showed a large concentration of those problems taking place in the Glendale area. The outages have continued through Monday morning, at one point reaching over 200 reports.

It's so weird, how there appears to have been a gathering of mourners at the stadium AND a gathering of gays looking for hookups in the same place at the same time. You'd think the stadium would have been better about not accidentally double-booking such a monumental event, televised live on ABC — wait, sorry, I meant YouTube.

Anyway, surely none of this means anything at all.

Grindr spiked in milwaukee in 2024 at the rnc convention. Grindr spiked in cleveland in 2016 at the rnc convention. Probably happened in charlotte in 2020 as well..but there's a huge native gay pop there, larger than milwaukees or clevelands, so it's unclear anyone would have noticed.

The reich keeps saying somethings turning us gay. Seems like they would know.
