This may be my own conspiracy theory, but I am concerned that right-wing provocateurs will instigate violence at tomorrow's protests, giving the administration and excuse to crack down.

22 MAGA types were arrested for attempting to assault No Kings protestors Saturday, some of those had guns, including a lady here in SC waving a gun at them. No protestors were arrested.

Chemtrails, reptilians, war in Ukraine – footballers who believe in conspiracy theories

Atletico Madrid and Spain midfielder Marcos Llorente recently gave a long interview to Partidazo on COPE. The conversation was not just about football – conspiracy theories came up as well.

Llorente believes in chemtrails – a pseudoscientific conspiracy theory claiming that passenger aircraft secretly release certain chemical substances into the atmosphere for purposes like bioengineering, weather manipulation or population control.

“I’d just like to know what that is. They say it’s done for climate modification and that some countries have already banned it,” Llorente said.

It’s not the first time Marcos has spoken about chemtrails. From time to time, he posts photos of plane trails to his 2.3 million Instagram followers, insisting they’re chemical traces, not condensation.

But the chemtrails are not all. Llorente believes people shouldn’t wear sunglasses outdoors: “They block the rays from reaching your eyes. I wear them only indoors. That’s biology, not my opinion.”

The midfielder has also stated several times that skin cancer cannot be caused by sunburn. He often posts photos of himself sunbathing in his garden, claiming the idea is spread by big pharmaceutical companies to sell sunscreen.

But Llorente isn’t the only footballer who believes in conspiracy theories. Here’s who else shares similar views.

Rickie Lambert – former Liverpool striker

In 2023, Lambert shared calls on social media to protest against Liverpool’s new zoning model dividing the city into 13 districts. He personally took part in demonstrations and addressed local officials:

“Please listen to us. I’m not sure you even know what’s happening. You might believe it’s good for this city, but we urge you to see the bigger picture. This is planned by all governments to destroy everything.”

He also called for the arrest of doctors and nurses who vaccinated children against Covid-19, spread false claims that vaccines contain a cancer virus, and posted that everyone involved in the globalist new world order plan must be removed from power.

Matt Le Tissier – former Southampton forward

In 2022, he sparked outrage after questioning whether footage from the war in Ukraine was genuine. Le Tissier, who has nearly 672,000 followers on X, retweeted a post alleging that media outlets were lying about the Bucha massacre.

Dejan Lovren – PAOK defender

The Covid-19 pandemic fuelled a new wave of conspiracy thinking – and Dejan Lovren was among its most vocal footballing supporters. The former Liverpool defender claimed the virus was part of a global plot. On Instagram, he frequently shared stories and videos from conspiracy theorists, alternative medicine promoters, and populist politicians.

Lovren subscribed to the idea that Covid-19 spread via 5G cell towers and that Bill Gates used microchips to control the population. He even messaged Gates directly: “Game over, Bill. People are not blind!”

Iker Casillas – former Real Madrid and Spain goalkeeper

Iker Casillas has publicly questioned whether the landing on the Moon ever really happened. While playing for Porto, he wrote on X:

“Next year marks 50 years since man landed on the Moon. I’m having dinner with friends, and we’re debating it. What do you think? Did he step on it? I think – no!”

Javi Poves – former Sporting Gijon defender

He retired at 25, saying his conscience told him to. He refused to have a bank account and returned the free car the club gave to players.

Later, Poves returned to football as the playing president of Mostoles Balompie, renaming the club Flat Earth FC before their debut in Spain’s fourth tier. He even appointed a former Spain women’s international as head coach.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Poves and his club shared anti-vaccine and anti-mask posts. A year later, he resigned, and another owner bought the club and changed its name.

The company said on Thursday that host Breanna Morello will begin covering the building as part of the newly remade press corps. The news came more than a week after dozens of traditional media outlets from both sides of the aisle turned in their badges over a new Pentagon policy prohibiting reporters from trying to “solicit” information from military officials, drawing swift accusations that the Pete Hegseth-led Defense Department was attempting to stymie press freedoms.

Louvre heist sends internet conspiracy theorists into overdrive as sleuths insist museum burglary was FAKED in viral new theory

Conspiracy theorists are claiming that the audacious £76million Louvre heist may have been faked - with wild speculation that the world's most famous museum was never actually burgled.

One of the far-fetched theories proposes it was in fact a carefully staged stunt for the upcoming film Now You See Me 3.

The theory exploded after Lionsgate's official TikTok account posted a cryptic video days after the break-in, with fans insisting it contained hidden references to Paris and stage magic.

Another viral clip, uploaded by user @phooxo, splices the supposed heist footage with scenes from earlier Now You See Me films, highlighting near-identical camera angles and the thieves' precision timing.

Together, the clips have racked up millions of views and fuelled speculation that the burglary was an elaborate movie marketing trick.

A competing theory suggests the jewels were stolen to order for a wealthy private collector, with the precision of the operation reflecting professional planning rather than performance.

French prosecutors have acknowledged they are investigating whether the crime was commissioned - but have refused to rule out 'inside assistance'.

Further out on the fringe, others have tied the incident to long-running conspiracies surrounding the Louvre itself - including the debunked claim that the museum's glass pyramid was built with 666 panes, a number linked to occult symbolism.

On TikTok and Reddit, amateur investigators have filled comments sections with theories ranging from from secret societies to government cover-ups, each claiming to have cracked the mystery.

Some have even speculated that the burglary was staged to hide damage to the jewels or to divert attention from deeper scandals within France's cultural institutions.

One person even suggested the heist was a 'Russian plot to send a message to Macron'.

MAGA actor Rob Schneider slammed over a conspiracy that children's hospitals did not exist when he was a kid because kids didn't get sick back then

The comedian, 61, found himself in hot water after he took to X, formerly Twitter, to share a shocking assertion.

He alleged that there has been a rise in children's illnesses as of late, while claiming that there were 'no children's hospitals' when he was younger because they weren't needed.

'FYI… There were NO Children's Hospitals when I was a kid. Because kids weren't sick,' he wrote.

The first children's hospital opened in Philadelphia in 1855, and by the end of the 1800s there were dozens, per an essay published by the Journal of Pediatrics.

In addition, the infant mortality was higher in the 1970s, when Schneider was a child, than it is now.

Many people were quick to call Schneider out over his claim in the replies.

'You grew up next to a children's hospital that opened in 1912,' one user fired back.

'I love ya Rob, but I was a frequent flyer to Cincinnati Children's Hospital back in the 1960s,' another added.

'The place has actually been around since 1883, founded by local women to care for sick and injured kids when no one else would.'

'Delete this tweet. You are embarrassing yourself,' urged someone else.

'Rob, what you posted can be easily verified as false in less than 10 seconds with one google search,' read a fourth tweet.

A fifth said, 'Washed up actor to right wing brainrot strikes again.'

MAGAts are livid over people questioning the wisdom of Trump demolishing the East Wing, especially since Obama did this



to install his $400 million basketball court. It’s more than a little misleading because;

-The basketball court was outdoors, not indoors.

-The cost was actually minimal, since Obama re-purposed an existing tennis court.

-The $400 million figure represents an extensive infrastructure upgrade to the entire White House complex.

-The appropriation, while spent during the Obama years, was actually approved by Congress during the Bush administration.

-The photograph is from 1934.

Candace Owens says she does not believe Elon Musk, Sam Altman, or Peter Thiel are humans and instead calls them hybrids.

She mentions there is something strange about their eyes and says she is not sure they even bleed.
