'I prayed so very, very hard that God decided to spare the world because of my faith', or some similar rubbish.

Shaman who ‘cleansed cursed jewellery’ among Europe’s most wanted
Mariana Mijailovic, 44, is on the run after police found blocks of gold, jewellery and bundles of cash stashed away in a secret room beneath a swimming pool at her home in Maria Enzersdorf near Vienna.
She convinced her wealthy victims that the jewellery they were wearing was “cursed” and needed an exorcism to rid them of demonic spirits, according to prosecutors.
She terrified the women with visions of their loved ones falling seriously ill or dying in sudden accidents before promising that it could all be averted if their jewellery was cleansed in shamanic rituals.
One woman gave Mijailovic £502,000 after being told she was possessed by demons. Another victim gave away £49,000 in the hope that her cancer would disappear. She later passed away, prosecutors said.
Once her victims had parted with their cash or valuables, the con-artist would abruptly break off contact and move on to their next target. She ended up defrauding at least 19 victims out of an estimated £8.3m in a 10-year spree across Germany and Austria.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Inside the world of Catholic exorcisms in the Philippines
Filipino exorcists say there’s been a surge in cases, and they’re engaged in a spiritual war.
But health professionals warn exorcisms can be dangerous, with the risk of mental and physical health issues being misdiagnosed as spiritual problems.
"Psychologists describe the phenomenon as mass hysteria or mass emotional contagion—when one person's stress or panic is mirrored by others as a way of expressing unprocessed emotions.
But Father Mendoza says it's a result of multiple demons attacking simultaneously."

This is a new take on Noah's flood: Lauren Witzke claims that God had to destroy the world because fallen angels brought pharmaceuticals to the world which is a form of witchcraft.

Whatever Christians have to say about it, I am willing to literally believe that 'This video is not available'.

Points for originality, I reckon, but Lauren sounds like she needs a jolly good seeing-to.

Back in 2010, Richard Dawkins visited a Muslim school for girls in the UK (as this was the only religious school that allowed him to visit) where the teachers assured him that they all teach evolution in the biology class along with the Quranic version of creation. And, surprise, surprise, all students end up rejecting evolution as false and embrace creationism (you know, for some unexplained reason).
And then Dawkins talked to the biology teacher and it turns out that she has no clue what evolution is. She's still stuck at the question: "If we evolved from apes, why are there still apes?" and that "Evolution is just a theory."
