Yeah, I just noticed because I only listened to it, I didn't watch it.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Job-killer Trump.
Quote:Trump suspends all large offshore wind farms under construction, threatening thousands of jobs and cheaper energy
It marks a major escalation in President Donald Trump’s attacks against offshore wind, a form of energy he has long railed against. The suspension could impact billions of dollars of investment and stall nearly six gigawatts of new electricity set to come online in the next few years.
The new sweeping order impacts five projects being built in the Atlantic Ocean, including a massive Virginia offshore wind farm that could eventually be the largest such project in the nation. Set to be completed by the end of 2026, it would supply electricity to Virginia, the state with the world’s largest cluster of power-hungry data centers — and skyrocketing energy costs partially tied to that growing demand. Other wind farms impacted are off the coast of New England.

Make America Great Again by:
Suppressing industries which are the future. Abandon renewable energy technology, ceding the lead to other countries. Waste our efforts on obsolete industries like fissile fuels. Insure we are are irrelevant in energy industries in the 21st century.
Rather than set up a clean energy infrastructure, continue to depend on dirty sources which aside from being unsustainable and uneconomical will cost us additional money in increased health care costs and environmental clean-up costs.
While it is highly debatable if this country was ever truly 'Great', we once were the undisputable leader in science and technology. That lead translated to massive economic might which led to great military might and world influence. We have lost that edge over the last several decades. Now, stupid people like Trump and the idiots that support him somehow think we can regain that edge by rejecting science, rejecting future technologies and embracing past technologies which are no longer relevant.
Far from being on the cusp of a golden age, this country is a turd racing around the toilet bowl, hoping the drain will clog up before it swallows us.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I can't think of one decision Trump has taken that plays out to our national benefit. Can anyone help me out?
It looks to me like his every decision has America on the wrong path.

Note the emphasis on "white" when he repeats the words "Great White Fleet".
From what i have read, the new non-carrier ships are gonna be some enhanced version of Arleigh Burke class destroyers, with provisions for lasers *pew* pew* and nuclear missiles *boom* *boom*, displacing some 30.000t maybe. Wile arguably being more "powerful" than any previous "battleship", they are certainly not gonna be bigger. Cant wait for his reaction when former Fox-host will tell him about Yamato, Bismarck ....and Iowa .
I am so sorry for you. Your country is clearly being ruled by a big child, a megalomaniac one. The more i see and hear about him, the more i think he is very, very dangerous, to all of us.
"Golden Fleet", gimme a break

As federal public health collapses under Trump, states are improvising
Measles is back with a vengeance, health insurance premiums are skyrocketing, and as Stat reported this week, American food safety could be on the verge of a breakdown. Meanwhile, the agencies that protect public health, like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, are being gutted of funding and experiencing mass layoffs. Against this backdrop, messaging at the federal level has taken a sometimes anti-scientific tone, such as implying Tylenol or vaccines can cause autism.
In response to this, many states are abandoning federal leadership and forging their own path. Less than a week after an advisory committee at the CDC changed a recommendation on when infants should receive the hepatitis B vaccine, California announced it was launching the Public Health Network Innovation Exchange. The regional alliance, state officials said, would be led by former CDC health officials. In a media release, the state elaborated that PHNIX would serve as a counterpoint to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Trump administration’s anti-science public health policies. It would focus on “innovation,” “developing advanced technology,” and “funding frameworks” for public health preparedness and response.
In September, California, Oregon and Washington formed a West Coast Health Alliance to provide unified health information, of which the latest initiative builds upon. In the Northeast, seven states, including New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, came together to form the Northeast Public Health Collaborative to make its own vaccine recommendations.
More recently, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signed legislation to expand an executive order empowering the state’s Department of Public Health to offer transparent and science-based vaccine guidelines through its own Immunization Advisory Committee. The formation of so-called micro health alliances marks a new and uncharted chapter in public health, leaving open-ended questions about what this means for the future of public health.
“The trend of these multi-state public health alliances that are mostly framed in opposition to the federal government, in combination with declining resources, staffing and support for public health from the federal government itself, indicate the future of public health in the U.S. looks more fractured and challenging than ever,” Josh Michaud, the associate director of global health and public health policy at KFF, told Salon.

If only there was a simple tested way to prevent measles!
