Let's at least show a little consistency and call for white christian dominionists to be deported every time they do a mass shooting here or elsewhere.

I’d like them declared xian terrorists, considered weapons of mass distraction and treat them as such.
Put them on a 40’ boat for a joy ride.
Our laws intentional inability to designate domestic terrorists as such will probably be recognized as the most consequential thing to be weaponized against us by domestic terrorists in the longer view of history.

In more serious-minded times, someone like Jennifer Benson announcing her candidacy for the state Legislature in Fargo's District 41 would have been fodder for much laughter and mirth and not a lot of serious consideration. We don't live in those times. We live in a simulation of the movie "Idiocracy," where someone like Benson has a good shot of earning enough votes to serve in Bismarck, if only because she's running in a Republican district as a Republican. Take, for instance, her 2022 claims, as a member of the Fargo School Board, that school districts in the Fargo-Moorhead area were accommodating "furries" (kids with a largely harmless hobby involving dressing up as animals) with kitty litter boxes. "The students I have talked to say ‘furries are everywhere, they are in all of our schools,’” Benson wrote in an email to The Forum at the time. “They said ‘furries wear collars, tails, headband ears, leashes, and some hiss and bark.’” “In one of my conversations this afternoon," Benson further claimed, "a student did inform me there are now litter boxes in Moorhead school restroom(s)."
