RE: What are you watching on Youtube?

Started commenting on YouTube videos recently. This is the first video here the channel itself actually liked my comment*.
And the comment in question is probably fairly obvious to anyone with an interest in 19th century literature:
I think Huck Finn had the right answer for such an argument: "All right, then, I'll go to hell."
* I've also had another comment that got acknowledgement from the channel but no like, specifically on Nathan Now's video about 10 movies he watched in 2025, refuting his assertion that Out of the Blue is the vilest Dennis Hopper's roles got, by bringing up Paris Trout. Turns out he's read the book, but did not know the movie existed.
Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.
I was born with the gift of laughter and a sense the world is mad.

Watched some guy build ‘an authentic Viking Age iron smelter’. He was doing a bang-up job until he used propane for the heat source and his wife’s hair dryer for the blower. I guess Vikings were more technologically advanced than I dared to dream.

rip Jesus 😞
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Bill Shatner getting this year's Saturn award. And why is there Tom Cruise in the audience cheering and clapping like a Musical Jolly Chimp?

I didn’t see anything odd about his applause. And he was there because he was nominated (and won) for Best Actor.
Which tells me the Saturn Awards mean nothing.
