I have simular problems, I deal with it by knowing what the problem is and doing my best not to let it control me. You're not cured, you just found inner strength like me, except you pretend it's god. I know im the source of my own strength. Only cowards depend on others to handle problems for them.

What I understand is...
You are moslem.
You are appareantly..non-denominational, in which case I'll assume you are sunni, but without considering your mezhep, hanefi, shafi or hanbali, etc.
You are ought to take medication, but you do not as for it not to interfere with your daily prayers.
1st. I do not know how medication is supposed to interfere with the prayers.
It interferes with fasting, which is why fasting is not commanded to people who are taking medication.
2nd. I don't know how not taking your medication helped with your schizophrenia in any way.
3rd. You should trust the doctors. If they think that you should take your medication, you should.

Over the years - there have been LOTS of claims of cures - from supposedly incurable maladies and treatments
The problem with such claims are obvious
The claim that the disease was incurable is NOT true. (THAT HAS to be the case - since a cure happened - even if unexplained)
Over the centuries - there have been thousands of once incurable diseases that can be treated and cured today.
ANd today - we can cure things that would have been considered impossible only 20 years ago.
IT is just like the case of those who claim out of body experiences of having seen gods - the problem is that we have such claims from ALL sorts of people of every religious and non religious inclination. IN every case - what we hear is exactly what the person EXPECTED to be - based on their prior beliefs. So - Christians see the christ - and moslems see Allah - and non believers do not see gods at all. THIS is clear proof that it is the brain that is doing its magic on people. IF it were a god - all would see the SAME one - or the same things.
THE idea that a god somehow cured your mental problem is simply YOUR interpretation - based on what YOU desperately want to believe - not based on any real knowledge or proof of connection to a divine spirit.
ANd - a sample of ONE fails in another area - for every ONE of YOU - there are literally thousands of others - who also prayed for a cure - and did not get one. Based on the FAILURE rate of prayer - a logical person would assume no gods exist.
People have prayed over the centuries for all sorts of things - many devout and good people have prayed not to die - for the end to hunger and starvation - the end to war - disease - and many other certainly deserving things. IF prayer worked - there would be no disease - no starvation - no war - and many other things. THAT all that still exists is the proof that prayer is worthless.

Mehmet and everyone else. I am not a Muslim any more and I don't believe its the prayers that cured me or that I am somehow special to God. I will paste and post what I said earlier:
I have to point out one very important thing from the night thatI got better.MomentsbeforeI got better I started thinking that some of my conspiracy beliefs are probably true(in reality they weren't) butthat things like Hollywood moviescould nothavebeenmadefor me.Thisissince when sick that's what I would believe. I did believe that therewasa conection butdidnot believe that they were madefor me.
Now think about it. Isn't it a preaty egoistic thing to believe that everything is about you. Even though i would believe that everybody hates me and it would give me grief, still it wad egoistical to believe in that.
Once I realised that in moments my illness was gone. I also admit thatpriorto thatI didthink I will take a risk in not taking the medication so that I can see thetruth of everything that's possible for me to know. Like at the time it wad the truth about God thatwasmost important to me.
Anyway, I would highly recomend a book called A NEW EARTH BY Eckhart Tolle. In it he talks about paranoid schizophrenia in particular. Also I would higly recomend him to everyone else. Not just those interested in schizophrenia.
Thanks

I personally don't like taking God away from people who truly need him. I think there comes a point in life where God is as valid as idea as any other. If you've suffered hardship, you use any mechanism that sees you through.
In this case, I say, praise the lord. I wish you all the best.
