I disagree a bit... it was 19 Muslims who did it with the promise of 72 virgins in Heaven, and if you remember there was a note found instructing them on how to kill the flight attendants Halal style.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

No it wasn't religious.
It was an attack on American imperialism. You will note that none of the targets were religious.
The government turned it into a religious war later.
I would argue that:
Yes, America initiated most of the war and turned it into a Christian war effort, but the attack never would have happened if it had not been for religion. Several statements were made by the organization that spawned the suicidal idiots that America didn't fit with Islam.

I think it would be reasonable to say that it was motivated by both religion and politics.

Allah hu akbar. It was an act of terrorism carried out by religious extremists being strung along like puppets in service of their masters..who have a political agenda(and likely couldn't care less about Allah or Islam)...par for the course.

Yes and no. I'm fairly confident it was religious for the dumb fucks who hijacked the planes.
However, terrorism ALWAYS has a political agenda, as do ALL wars.

Egor, Egor, Egor, Egor, Egor, Egor, Egor, Egor, Egor, Egor, Egor, EGOR!
Quote:Faith is Greater than Reason
Because faith uses rationality as its stepping stone and then goes further through the use of will, it is obviously a greater use of human mental capabilities. And couldn't it be said that the use of will is more godlike than the use of rationality? Thus if there is a God, it may well be the case that we grow closer to Him via the use of faith.

Of course he wasn't Jewish. His last name was Christ, not Christowitz!
