While that is not exactly his position, it is still irrelevant. Joseph Kony's bullshit isn't about racism. It is about kidnapping children and forcing them to fight and many more horrible things.

Not even in the slightest, Rev. There is a huge difference between saying people can hang signs saying whatever they want and people should not be able to kidnap children and make them kill their families. I have no fucking clue how you have made this connection, but it really is crazy.

Once again you misrepresent my position...and I thought we agreed not to bring this up again? Then again, it has been two weeks or so, which was how long I predicted the "truce" would last. In any case, I don't support the police enforcing racism; I support the police enforcing property rights. If I want to ban all people shorter than 6ft in my store, I should have the right to do so (since it's my store and my property). People who refuse to comply with my rules in my property are no less than trespassing, and I should have the right to call the police and ask for them to be escorted off the premises.

Right...because all my political views are based on one single belief in property rights? There's not so much of a jump, but rather a complete disconnect. They are two completely separate issues; I honestly don't see how you can connect the two. This isn't an issue of property rights; this is an issue of the right to life, and the right not to be enslaved and used as sex slaves / soldiers.

Am I right in thinking this? You would stop Kony, and try to save the children. But after saving the children you would allow the police to enforce racism, haterd and greed. These very children you might save and bring to your country, but fully support a business in paying them less than whites, or not selling them services, taking advantage of them socially and economically, as "whites only" busiensses enforced, etc..etc...

No, I'd allow the police to enforce property rights of people who owned property. Again, we see you use the words "whites only" as if it is my only argument for property rights, which you know is complete bullshit, and I've called you out on it before. Property rights cover everyone, regardless of their race. If the children I "save" want to set up a store and then refuse to sell me stuff because of the colour of my skin, I'd support their right to do it (although I'd find it quite insulting, and would encourage people not to shop there).

There is no jump needed. They are completely different issues. Just like how I can "jump" from "whites only signs" to "everyone should be free to take whatever drugs they like"; they are completely different issues.

Anyway, this isn't the place for such a discussion. If you really want to continue it, create a new thread and I'll merge in these posts. This thread is supposed to be about a very worthy cause.

It isnt a fight. I merely wanted clarification. Of course, that didnt stop Napoleon from jumping in and claiming that I was fighting with you even though I clearly pointed out that I DID NOT want a fight and only wanted some clarification.

Napolean also went so far as to break forum rules stating that quotations should be as accurate as possible. Instead he quoted me as saying "BEEF" (something I did not say) in the hopes of making me look like I am trying to start a fight, then turns around and suggests he knows Im trying to start a fight even though I specifically said I merely wanted some clarity and no fights. Shell thumbed up his post where he broke the rules.

Thanks Napoleon for tossing gasoline all over the place and trying to make something out of nothing.

As far as your response Tiberius, I am not breaking any kind of truce. I merely asked for clarity. And yes, I do agree with you that if someone turned your system around on you and used it against you after helping them it would be fucked up. I am well aware that Property and contract rights are king to you. A place like uganda is almost constantly under military rebelions from many different factions, all claiming property rights. I was going to try and ask how you settled that with your own views of property rights being immutable..but alas, the conversation is ruined.

As far as I am concerned we are still at a truce no matter how many others on the outside try to drama queen it up.
