I am surprised he did this before the election...
But it has one benefit (ahahahaha... the lies): I'll be voting for a president. The futility of it all... I just want to see another little number for him on the 'popularity vote'.
Marriage isn't much, but it's legally binding... WITH BENEFITS! 
Also romantic.
* Violet is seriously getting married because it is romantic and her girlfriend needs visitation rights..
As for the 'debate': I feel marriage should be irrelevant. Utterly nothing legally, and next to that socially. Unfortunately, the schmucks that be seem to think that peasants were married back when the bullshit was invented.

Are gay people not citizens? Your whole definition of marriage is vulgar. You should want romanticism for all, love for all.

Marriage is about control. It's about self-control.Those who are unable of controlling themselves, soon find their marriage in trouble.
Love? Sure, it only leads you to marriage, perhaps...Other than that, it plays little role in a marriage. Actions, not feelings describe a marriage.

But 2 gays cant have self control because you wont let them marry?
Love is what keeps 2 people together, its those feelings, that connection, that brings about action. And you call that action marriage but it is just a consequence of love, and your trying to tell 2 people that they cant love, that they cant act.

But in this thread, instead of dogma and intolerance you have shown compassion, wisdom and understanding.
