The Bible can not truly be understood without the revelation of the Holy Spirit. That's why so many have trouble with the scriptures, they either read and get only a surface meaning from them,or the bring their own preconceived ideas into the reading of scripture and make those ideas fit the scriptures. Properly read one will allow the Holy Spirit to open up the word of God's truth and apply it to one's life. To many would rather make the scriptures fit their ideas and lifestyle.

I have no belief in what we were supposed to be other than to follow our genetic heritage and be humans. I'm sorry, your question confuses me.

Eve ate fruit she was explicitly told not to, scuppering God's idea of Eden thus causing 'him' to expel his creations and close the garden.

The entire population of the Earth devolved into 'sin' to the extent that God regretted ever creating them in the first place, causing 'him' to commit genocide on a global scale with the special exception of the world's greatest menagerie and a control group of chosen élite. Immediately after the atrocity, God's representative of the best of the human race got completely out of his head on homebrew and may or may not have indulged in a particularly juicy bit of Ham (but that's another story).

God knew this would happen before creation, he already knew all that would be the scriptures, His plan was worked out to the very last detail. Then creation. God has never nor will He ever be surprised.

In fact let's forget the book altogether for the moment. Every prayer, every curse, every petition for divine intervention is an attempt to rewire God's plan in favour of the petitioner or against his enemies.

That's why we are to pray with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, so our prayers are in God's will. I stated this earlier in this discussion, that not all of God's will is absolute. Example, God could allow someone to get sick, (this would be in His will), to test someone else, (this also in God's will), the one being tested might pray for the healing of the first, God could heal the sick person, thus allowing His will to be changed as long as it does not effect His absolute will.
