@OP
Here's a simple thought for you: goosebumps on the human body are the remains of what we used to be--hairy monkeys. The whole idea of goosebumps is that it makes the hairs stand up straight and it allows air to flow in between them. When they fall back down again, they trap that air which can then be heated up by the body's warmth, thus making it more probable that you'll survive that cold winter night.
Why did God give us goosebumps that couldn't perform their duty ever? Or were Adam & Eve originally (and conveniently...) hairy as hell?

The universe is approx. 13.75 billion years old.
The Earth is approx 4.5 billion years old.
Plenty of time for evolution to take place and given the proven fact of genetic variation, it can't help but happen.
Also the laryngeal nerve of the giraffe, it only makes sense if Evolution is the explanation.
And the very well documented fossil record for whales, an almost unbroken chain of fossils.
That's just for starters.

Many Christians are convinced of the theory of evolution because of the weight of evidence that supports it, built up over the last 150 years . . I have met some of them. They have to do some mental gymnastics to shoe-horn it into christian theology but seem to manage to their own satisfaction.
On the other hand I have yet to meet an atheist who does not agree with the theory of evolution, but they are probably out there.
Being an atheist implies nothing about a persons beliefs regarding the origin of life on earth, other than that they will probably not subscribe to any particular religions take on that issue.
In that sense, coming to an atheist forum and asking for facts about evolution is a bit like going to a mathematics forum and asking for facts about geography.

Do you look different than your parents or are you an identical clone? If you answered yes to the former, congratulations, you're evidence for evolution!

Examine multiple fossils in chronological order of a genera.
Some would argue examining flies, but I never liked it because it is such a localized event and not really indicative of evolution.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

To the OP: Very good that you realize this. Yes, with the facts we can all hope to evolve. Try Min's suggested website. Maybe you'll find the facts you need there. No one has to remain a Christian no matter what the circumstances of your birth may be. Sounds like you have a higher calling. Go with science.
