Washington State legalizes marijuana for adults.

RE: Washington State legalizes marijuana for adults.
Apparently the fucking bible DOES have an answer for everything.....

Quote:It all makes sense now. Gay marriage & marijuana being legalized on the same day.

Leviticus 20:13- "If a man lays with another man he should be stoned."

We were just interpreting it wrong.

One jurisdiction legalizes marijuana.
Another just introduced plain packaging laws to try and get people to stop smoking - ANYTHING.

And they took it all the way to the High Court in a constitutional lawsuit.

Man, the owner of that mouth must be in a desperate need of a Dental hygienist.

Oh yeah about the cancer. It's therefore recommendable to smoke only weed and skip the tobacco.

Better yet, invest in a vaporizer or edibles?

Don't hurt your body with all that nasty smoke, enjoy it!

Meh I like the smoke, I don't much care for edibles. Plus once you are high on them you just want to eat more, and go into a pot coma. Can't wait to go back to Washington State though.

You can try to either buy one or two edibles (removing the ability to eat more of a nonexistent collection) or learn discipline.

I wouldn't contribute to the stereotype that cannabis users can't control themselves -- my brothers who have gone on to excel in engineering, virology/immunology research all can prove otherwise. Several of us prefer to work high because it simply allows us further concentration in our chosen fields.

I've mentored four stoners, the last who turned out to be a living stereotype of lack of control. I helped him find his next addiction in the form of his anti-drug rich girlfriend -- it became either sex or weed as a situation. He chose the former and quit embarrassing the circle that I knew (and had brought him into). I hear from him occasionally -- all seems to be well, which is good.

The former three all turned out to be responsible.

Oregon almost passed measure 80 which would have allowed cultivation and purchase from Oregon State controlled stores. I'm bummed, but live only 45 minutes away from Vancouver. I've yet to figure out where a store is, but it isn't a large priority for me. From watching news stories I get the impression that the price is still the same as illegal weed so I might as well pick up some known great weed from my friends. Right now, under an ounce in Oregon is just a small fine.

I'm not sure that there are any legal stores in WA yet. As far as I know, they're still working through the regulatory issues. For what it's worth, I'm not sure it's going to be legal to sell to non-residents - the law was crafted carefully to avoid interstate commerce issues.

pffft, Once I'm high I'm not huge into controlling my eating habits. That's the point it I thought. I simply don't like the high of edibles as much. As for self control, I'm an occasional user. I don't crave weed, sometimes I'll spend a whole summer high and then not smoke for the next year. I don't believe weed is that chemically addictive, shit I crave coffee every morning. Anybody who becomes addicted to weed just doesn't have that much more going on in their life.
