How Christians and there god sound to me.
RE: How Christians and there god sound to me.
Why is that?

To know nothing about it means that there is no evidence for its existence as evidence would mean you knew at least one thing about it

But please, go on, I'm sincerely interested.

This is why I don't argue about "truth", only about what is actually written... Do you understand? Logicaly, what I believe must exist outside of this physical reality, until I can observe that, it will remain unknowable...

Quote:My deity is unknowable to my human existence...

First and foremost: Theses quotes contradict one another. You say it's "unknowable" yet you also say " what I believe must exist", which equates to knowledge on the subject.

Quote:what I believe must exist outside of this physical reality
There is no such thing as "outside this physical reality." No wait, clinically insane human beings are just that aren't they? Thus:
Quote:until I can observe that
the only way to observe your god is to be clinically insane. You want that?
Quote:it will remain unknowable
But you do have knowledge of it:"what I believe must exist." Therefore, drumroll, "it" is knowable and there you have it, you have just provided us and yourself with proof that you are CLINICALLY INSANE!!!

Your lack of reasoning has failed you tremendously. Your life seems to revolve around some mystical knowledge of a fantasy realm but your not sure where the knowledge came from or how it got there! Am I right so far? You are insane, bro. I'm sorry but its trueDog Bone
You are merely a deranged individual who's reason for being here at this forum is eerily suspicious.

LOL! And you're implying you know what is (or isn't) beyond the physical universe...

This "reality" has never provided evidence for another reality. Thus, there is no rhyme or reason to say there is one. I sit contently with the facts. YOU on the other hand, have decided that another reality exists first, then handed over your sanity to it.

YOU(not me) have provided any viewers, and yourself, with all the evidence required to acknowledge your legitimate insanity. Do not be upset with me, as I am only guilty of paying very close attention to YOUR words.
Truth is, when I posted this:
Quote:If I may interject...

CATFISH, is your deity omniscient? Does it possess the power to do anything?
Simple question, I know. Enlighten me please and grace me with a simple answer.

... I was 100% confident that within moments, I would have you spilling your SIMPLE guts about your insanity. Faced with this information about yourself, you become afraid. Afraid to question your own beliefs rationally. Instead you try (miserably) to Deflect(deflect-you know, that thing you accuse many of).

But you will carry on no doubt through your unfounded, unjust, unresearched, uneducated, and foolish life. You may forget what I've said here today( I would bet NOT) but many more in your future may wind up telling you the same thing. Wanna know why?
Because you're a fucking loony tune.

Take what's left of your misplaced pride, shut your mouth, and go to college. Not some bs Christian school, but a REAL accredited school within which you might just learn a thing or two about this universe that you live in, hopefully before you die in it. I'm not telling you WHAT to do, but what you will need to do if you ever want to truly understand anything.

ROFLOL

All I have stated is that my "deity" (the creator of the universe) must exist outside of this reality. I'm claiming it's unknowable, you're the one claiming absolute knowledge...

So, you may as well admit that or continue to make an ass of yourself...
You have a choice now, slink away or provide proof that the cause of the universe exists within the universe...

Up! There it is! The Argument from Ignorance rears it's ugly head once again. How do you know the universe we now observe had to be created by some deity? Current cosmology does not claim the universe came ex nihilo. So you are arguing from ignorance. "I cant' imagine how X could have happened. Therefore, X Deity did it." FAIL.

How do you know your "deity" must be unknowable? This is an absolutely perfect attempt at obfuscation - making your arguments and assertions immune from evidence or falsifiability so you can keep believing, having faith, feeling comfortable, and feeling justified. FAIL.

You cannot arbitrarily define your deity into existence (anymore than Muslims can). Why do you believe this? How did you come to learn that this deity (which you have yet to define) is unknowable? Besides that, if it's unknowable then you can't know it! So you have just contradicted yourself. It doesn't seem that you have carefully or critically thought through your beliefs.

It seems you don't actually care whether or not your beliefs are actually true. You just want to believe (in your own version of Christianity) because it makes you feel good.

-All of this vitriolic cursing at the non-believers, all because you have made an assumption about an unknowable deity. WOW.

p.s. - An "unknowable" deity is fundamentally indistinguishable from a deity that DOES-NOT-EXIST.

Oh. Well allow me to retort:
1-Fact: I never claimed absolute knowledge but i DID claim that you're an insane individual.
2-Fact:I didn't ask you to repeat what you said already.
3-Fact:"my "deity" (the creator of the universe) must exist outside of this reality" is NOT " all you have stated."
4-Fact: you did not, AT ALL, attempt to argue your insanity.

So, one might conclude that you realize the justification for everything I have said here and therefore aren't going to argue it. It's ok, that's good. It means you CAN think. However, you're still here, aren't you? Why I wonder? Are you in awe of other humans who can analyze, critique, reason, study, deduce, question, be honest, be fair, be productive, rationalize, use logic, etc., etc., etc. I mean, you did say "you're the one claiming absolute knowledge" when in fact I didn't. Are you under the impression that to have qualities (such as the ones i just stated) endows a person with "absolute knowledge?"

For your own sake, choose your words carefully. You are your own worst enemy and I am no slouch as it pertains to reason.

So, you may as well admit that or continue to make an ass of yourself...

LOL! You'll never see your flaws...
When you recognise you are in the same position (no proof), we will continue this. Until then, you both can fuck off, k?

HA! No. YOU fuck off, asshole. If you have no proof, then you have no justification for believing (Mr. Butthurt). And since you are a fucking child who is incapable of having an honest discussion about his beliefs it is (most certainly) YOU that needs to go fuck yourself.

See, we didn't make a claim. YOU DID. And now that you can't defend that claim all you can do is backpedal and start crying (like a butthurt 6th grader). FAIL.

When you don't have proof, you should admit it and admit that you don't know - instead of trying to create a bullshit "unknowable" deity. Start getting honest with yourself (and others) when you don't know something and you MIGHT fair better.
