God as the Centre of Everything

Which leads one to conclude that theism is false, given theism is committed to a disembodied consciousness giving rise to existence and interactively altering it by merely wishing it so. Magic and mysticism by any other name but otherwise known as the primacy of consciousness. Now I have backed my claim, why don't you make claim of your own for a change to back up your theistic position?(February 2, 2013 at 1:02 pm)Captain Scarlet Wrote: Christian exists, his god does not and can not exist.A bold claim that I know you'll fail to back up captain. You started off so well too.

There is no claim there captain, just a failed attempt to burn a straw man. To get you started: prime mover/first cause/timeless being is what you're addressing.
Your own bold claim, and well done for making it, is that God cannot exist. Please prove this. RE: God as the Centre of Everything

Put god at the centre of everything? I always do. She can be quite difficult if she feels she's being neglected....
AMEN BROTHER CHRISTIAN! lets burn the science books along with the witches and sodomists and bring back some godly reason into this world! And if those muslims think they can worship god better than us we will burn them too!
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason. It just occurred to me, putting God first is appealing to some kind of logical ordering. But in doing so you're appealing to logic before appealing to God. Maybe God wants to be second. Or sixteenth. How did you decide that you should put God first. What exactly happens if we put your Blarney McHaggis where he doesn't belong? Auntie Em! Auntie Em! It's a twister!
Appearing he does do research, that's why he doesn't give a shit about your bible.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

It is committed to the primacy of consciousness given it's reliance on a disembodied consciousness being able to causally interact with reality and / or even cause reality at all, ie Theism claims that existence does not exist without said consciousness. The primacy of consciousness is demonstrably false. Ergo Theism is false, ergo god/s do or can not exist.
