I appreciate the freedom of expression, and that is true that you give Christians liberties here that they do not have on other sites. I appreciate that. At the same time, the freedom of expression is different from advocacy. It is different to permit someone to express their views on ecstasy and then rebuke them for faulty views versus permit the expression of those views and say "Yeah, I did it, it was amazing" or maybe worst still, be absolutely silent.

Would it be likewise fair to judge you for your silence in any number of threads that you have declined to comment in?

It is not so much silence as willful engagement with issues in a manner that effectively ignores the most important and obvious consideration, such as ecstasy is bad for you, in fact of making some sort of ironic joke or doing something intentionally offensive. It is by no means limited to atheist culture, it is Internet culture generally.

I have not posted in many threads because I do not have the time to cover all of them. But others decline to criticize the actions of others because atheist culture tends to not take responsibility for giving others counsel about the most serious and important issues in their lives and instead tends to thrive on irony, on memes, on technical observations and on anything that ignores central, life and death issues just because they aren't cool or they seem like people have said them over and over again.

It is that spirit that I feel and see so often that seems to drive people more than anything else, the spirit that exalts humor above love. It is despicable.

This is what I mean. This does not refute what I said, it is just a sort of mocking side comment aimed at derailing what I am trying to say. The logic behind this goes something like "I don't like fire and brimestone, so this is bad". How does that actually address what I am saying or refute it?

This is a perfect example of the sort of callous cynical attitude that is so much pervasive than empathy and seriousness and love and the absolute imperative to help others avoid evil. That tends to not exist on the internet, especially in atheist circles.

It is sufficient, for the atheist, to post a picture of a dog peeing to win an argument about something serious. Then they will object "ATHEISM IS NOT THE SAME AS NIHILISM". It seems like the hearts of atheists have been hardened so badly by their philosophy that they do not even process momement to moment as a constant struggle to help others as much as possible. They do not feel that they have this burden placed on them, the only burden they feel is to be cool.

No, it's a little joke between catfish and I. If I'm not terribly mistaken, I believe he saw the humor in it. That's what happens when you actually get to know people by reading what they have to say instead of making broad generalizations.
