And I never came across a dragon simply roosting. They were always flying in the air trying to kill shit. Do you have to be all stealthy to find that?

I completed it once, and have no intention of ever doing it again. Considering you can't get the fucking stones out of your inventory without finishing it, I'm never picking another one of the goddamn things up again.
Crimson Nirnroot: I didn't find this one to be that time consuming, I picked up all 30 while exploring Blackreach (which I was going to do anyways). The reward is pretty underwhelming, especially if you're not an alchemist.
At least it's not as bad as the Oblivion nirnroot-related quests. You have to find 100 of the damn plants spread over a much larger area to finish that questline, and the rewards are terrible. Murdering Sinderion is so much more satisfying. Unfortunately, that option does not exist in Skyrim as the fucker is already dead.
To be fair... the potion of dungeon exploration was amazing for non-khajiit archers and assassins, and was nice in any sort of darkness for anybody
But finding the damn things... my gods.
From my perspective, It didn't give me anything that I couldn't already do myself as an alchemist. Yes, it was several effects in one bottle, but potions stack, and I already carried multiples of each useful effect.
If you somehow gained the ability to MAKE the potions, well, now that would be a bit different.

Thats what I thought first. Then I felt bad second time round. I probably hated him so much he made me feel guilty about hating him or something.
I had no such guilt.
I actually hate a lot of quests in the game in which you're given the choice to kill or not a character, because it seems like the game rewards you for killing innocent victims as often as not.

I fucking hate the falmer and am sad that there is no option for me available to simply massacre them all.
Who else killed Lydia?

OOooooooooohhh - if I could have another DLC it would be to 'save' a portion of the elves that the falmer came from: the snow elves. Like a secret bit of them hidden somewhere all those eons. I suppose the same as your dwemer.

There already is such a dlc, Dawnguard. or at least a storyline of that kind is included. In some way. Well at least it tells the story of the snowelves from another perspective.

You end up with 1. It would be cool to find a proper community somewhere. I doubt they would do it after Dawnguard though.

I haven't done Dawnguard yet. I thought that was all about vampires.

* Jackalope raises hand.
I have one character who has killed nearly every in-city NPC that can be killed (except ones I have a use for), and a large number of the rest.
I don't recommend doing that.
